Hey all I'm trying to perfect a list that is reasonably capable in a competative setting, I need some hard critiques and ideas for this list.
Flayertroupe

1 x masque of slannesh
6 x units of 10 Daemonettes with 1 icon of chaos
Daemon Lords
------------------------------------------------
2× Daemon Prince of Slannesh (Psycher Lvl 2, Lash of Slannesh, Daemonic Flight and Warpforged Armour)
1 x Be'lakor
1x Keeper of Secrets (Psycher Lvl 3, Soulstealer, 1 Greater Reward)
Auxillary

5 furies of Slannesh
Please let me know your ideas and Ideas on how to play this, Tactics etc

I would definitely try to get greater rewards on those princes, or they'll fall over at the measliest fart pointed in their direction if they don't get invisibility.
If they do get invisibility, then the rewards could make sure nothing with high ROF can punch through it, and possibly even make it so your opponent deems it futile to shoot at them.

The lash of slannesh is their greater reward so they can just stay in the air and still deal 2d6 str9 hits on enemies and vehicles (If i manage to get iron arm) The toughness from iron arm should help also. What do ya think?

From running daemon princes lots, I can tell you that 2 rolls on biomancy is not likely to give you iron arm reliably, especially for both guys. If you're going the route of using them as a gunboat I would probably try my hardest to ensure they're at least lvl3 psykers for an extra power generation roll, but I know it's hard to find points in the list.
Iron arm will also help their survivability immensely, yes. To be honest I haven't used the FMC's as swooping gunboats much since 7th made it illegal to change flight modes and charge. That's just personal preference though, I prefer using them as jump units and relying on durability buffs just so I always have the option to charge. Otherwise I feel like half the points I spent on the FMC were wasted, because I'm paying out the arse for that combat statline.
I also missed the fact that you have Belakor in the list when I made my initial comment, although I personally would still be worried that the daemon princes are too fragile. If you get shrouding off and zoom them around with Belakor, and at least one of your dudes gets iron arm, I think you would be set.

Sweet! I forgot about shrouded, I will definatly grab that and invis on my keeper of secrets. Hopefully this will make quite a durable list
Im trying to shuffle around 50 points for some psycher levels

Yeah, if the keeper manages to roll invisibility as well the list becomes quite scary. Belakor comes stock with shrouding and invisibility so that helps immensely as long as your daemon princes are within 6" of him. If your keeper gets shrouding + invisibility you can split a prince away from Belakor without worrying about his safety.

Cheers for the advice will definatly try and max the psycher levels and see what I can do, just curious what do you think of rolling on the slannesh table for the keeper, it has some nice spells

I'll take a look at the spell table when I get home, I can't remember it right now. Automatically Appended Next Post: After checking them out I wouldn't forgo telepathy for the slaanesh table, at least in competitive play.
The slaanesh table has some nice powers but none of them seem as game changing or important to the list as shrouding and invisibility.

I have shifted the psycher levels so the keeper has 1 and the daemon princes has 3 each so should I still roll on telepathy? Now the primaris plays a larger role

Well, I sat down with a calculator and your list and I can't find a way to get the points any other reasonable way than what you did, and I'm not 100% sure it's the correct decision. I kind of think it might be better to keep the DP'S at lvl2 and have your keeper at lvl3 like you originally did. It's totally your call, of course.
I don't have a ton of experience with these new formations yet and haven't had to restrict myself to 1850 pts for awhile, and underestimated the difficulty of squeezing points out of somewhere.
I think with the right powers and smart play your original list is quite capable.

I just imagine that iron arm is more valuble due to be'lakor providing the invis and shrouded, keeper just needa to get in combat with soulstealer and provide support power, and not only the toughness but the Strength is VITAL against any huge vehicle, hitting on str 9 against vehicles or HQ's seems important rather than keeping the keeper alive

one thing I have seen is getting rid of the 3+ armor, with all of the grav you are just paying more to die faster. my buddy runs deamons and started running them without the 3+ and overall its worked out a lot better for him

Pretty sure you can only take up to 3 daemon lords. Command is 0-3 in the incursion detachment which is what it looks like you are playing. You have 4.

As a daemon and a SM player I concur. My SM list eats armour for days while the daemons stick with cheesy invuln. Giving the daemons armour is asking to be nuked by gravs.

Yes they did. Some of the books say "daemons who have the option to take exalted rewards may blah blah relics" and other ones say "daemons who have the option to take daemonic rewards may blah blah relics. "
My book also says 0-4 command.
OP, if grav is prevalent enough in your meta it would be an option to drop the 2 armour upgrades and your icon to make all your big dudes lvl 3. Hard to say which is better without knowing what you're up against though.
