Hey Dakka,

I could use your help. I want to model a power fist on my DKoK engineer watchmaster. Of the IG power fists, I have the Cadian "boxing glove" and Tempestus scion "knuckler". Both look rather too large and bulky on my little DKoK engineer. Do any of you know of any other GW/FW or third party alternate power fists that would better fit the smaller dimensions of DKoK models?

Well the Elysian HQ Commander has a really neat looking power fist, which I'd expect to be in the same scale as the Krieg miniatures, seeing how both ranges are by FW.

So ideally you might want to use that one, but I'm aware that it would likely be really expensive. You might want to keep an eye on eBay, sometimes these things show up.

How about using a regular space marine lower arm and hand and scuplting on some cables and stuff? It feels like it would be alright sizewise at least.

You could also consider the FW Cadian commander models. They've made two, both of them with power fists, and they should be easier to find on eBay, with Elysians generally don't selling as well as the other ranges.

But it does look big and bulky and not unlike what you'd get in plastic elsewhere. It's really impossible to say if it would work or not, until you actually try it, however the Elysian power fist would most likely look good on a Krieg model.

I think that the Cadian power fist from the Command Squad works well enough. I have converted a Krieg Commissar with one and it looks decent. The Tempestus one is a little too large for my tastes

Hmm, I'd say it looks sligthly to big. While a power fist should be somewhat comically large imo it shouldn't be almost as big as the torso of the mini using it.
Something slightly smaller might be much better I think.

Unfortunately most power fists suffer from looking "large and bulky" on most IG models but here is what I did for my Steel Legion company commander. I got the power fist from a Warmachine model called Butcher of Khardov.

Edit: I really like the look of that Cadian powerfist you chose. Its coming along really nicely.

Wow, awesome conversion there Benny! That fist looks great and I really like the death mask.

Thanks for the feedback. I would perfer a smaller, more boxy, Krieg-esque fist than the smooth, rounded Cadian version, but maybe it will grow on me.
