Hey guys,
so I'm helping a buddy prepare for Adepticon. He's bringing a pretty good list so I wanted to bring an equally strong list. Here's what I have so far.

My current thoughts are to fly around with the DP, throwing out Psychic powers, a Lash of Despair, and Vector Strikes while Grimoiring my Dogs or my BT. Rush my BT and Khorne Herald with Hounds up in to combat asap and Deepstrike my GUO.




Now I also have 20x Flesh Hounds, another Soul Grinder, 6 Flamers of Tzeentch, 10x more Plaguebearers, and 4 Beasts of Nurgle I could swap in.

Any reason for not trying out the new formations, besides lack of models? Because i have the feeling your friend is somewhat likely to run into them, and if you don't mind proxying testing some of them now probably wouldn't go ammis

The GUO is too slow in this list. the opponent can just ignore him. I would trade for the 4 Beasts in 2 units of 2 to act as tarpits. Heck, they may even kill some Marines.

Is the SW list the formation that allows him to charge in your turn? if so it could be funny to turn the table on him with the Attention seeker rule.

I like the idea of the Prince, but you can get Belakor to the same points and he is just better. Plus, you have the ideal units for Belakor. Invisible Fleshhounds FTW. Shrouded BT for a 2+ jink...on the ground! yes please

Agreed. I like the GUO and I think he could be powerful against the Knight, but I agree he is too slow.

Not really, just A) don't have the book currently and B) a lot of them were really points heavy for what seemed like not a lot of benefits.

What missions are you guys playing? Because being able to semi-permanently cap objectives is pretty dang sweet as a detachment benefit, and most if not all of the core choices are atleast ok with the right units.
