After soaking minis, I find it a chore to clean them. I was thinking of using a power tool... like a dremel. Some kind of soft brush bristle attachement. Has anyone else done this? Does anyone have any suggestions on an easy way to do the cleaning (of SM troopers) after soaking? A toothbrush is fairly effective but doesnt reach everywhere well (like thighs in between legs).

Feedback appreciated. Thanks.

Maybe a pipe cleaner would work well.

Purple power + toothbrush works great for me, depending on what they were painted with. Soak them for about six hours, brush, then soak the bad ones a few more hours.

I didnt think of that! I'll try one of those! Removing basic acrylic paint.

Definitely not a dremel. I used a dremel to do this very thing, using the softest of the nylon brushes, and the result was that I destroyed the plastic mini

Well, sort of. In the end, I called it a wound across the face, hehehe. But the side of the head was carved out like it had gone through a meat grinder.

A Philips Sonicare toothbrush will do the trick. Isopropyl alcohol at Costco prices is what I use, mostly because it's cheap, and not really awful smelling.

What I did was bought a hard toothbrush, and then I clipped the bristles so they are only 2-3 mm long. Shorter bristles are much stiffer and don't flop about as much, so it's easier to point them into cracks and crevices. It's my go-to tool for things like chest eagles and eyes. However, if you're having a lot of trouble scrubbing you might want to use a more powerful stripper.

The electric toothbrush suggestion worked amazingly! I have one where the bristles are in three groups so that when you press harder different bristles engage. I found it didn't matter how hard I pressed - there was no damage. Its so quick and easy compared to a manual brush!!! Even problem areas like between legs or tiny spots in back packs were very easy.

This advice is just as important as what you soak them in. If you're doing more than 3 or 4, an electric toothbrush is a must!!!
