Hi Guys,

I'm moving out to Fort Hood in about a month and was wondering if anyone could give me any advice about good games stores to play at, or where people in the area tend to organize their games?

Thanks,

Albireous

My old stomping grounds. You have Battlefield Games in Killeen itself that has a healthy 40K community. Dragon's Lair in Austin runs a tournament on the first Sunday of every month. Play one or two there and you'll meet plenty of Austin area gamers.

What games do you play? Because if you play Horus Heresy, there are The Forgotten Legion 30k guys in Victoria and Austin that you could hang out with.

40K open play night at Dragon's Lair in Austin is on Thursday.

DL has a tourney the first Sunday of the month and Wonko's in Austin has a Narrative Event the 2nd Saturday of the month.

Thanks for the tip! How competitive would you say the Meta is at either shop?
