Oh cool, foot slogging orks are a classic and fluffy way to...
(playing against IG,Eldar,Tau,Necrons)
oh god damn those are literally the four worst armies to footslog against. You sure I can't talk you into trukks and bikes?
okay okay... Here's what you do. First, dump the
CAD. I doubt you're gonna want to sit your 30 model troop choices on objectives to get use out of obsec.
Look into either the Warband detachment from the codex or WAAAGH Ghazghkull. Warband allows you to WAAAGH every turn after the first which helps ALOT getting your boyz across the table. You have to take grots, but this is a good thing! Shooting past grots at your blobs gives them a 5+ cover, and grots can still take objectives, all for 35 points! Ghazghkull gives you a chance to deepstrike your units! Imagine deepstriking a 30 boy mob in the middle of a
IG firing line, good stuff! Also, I'm pretty sure all these detachments gives you extra
HQ slots so you don't have to daisy chain a couple of CADs together.
Beyond that... I'd ditch the deffkoptas personally. They're survivable sure, but I don't see them taking down a wave serpant or a hammerhead any time soon. They'll probably just be ignored. Lobbas are great, but with eldar, tau, AND necrons on the bill I'd seriously consider some traktor kannons. Other good ideas would be a Stompa (It's still a footslogger rite??) dakka jets, warbikes, big mek with
KFF, stormboyz, and strategic traits for your warlord. (Strategic gives you chances at stealth, night fight, infiltrate, seizing initiative, or forcing 3 pinning tests, any of which would be a godsend for you.)
The trick to a good footslogging is distractions. The other player is going to look at your blobs and know he's got to take them down, but he's gonna think well gak, gotta deal with that dakkajet/morkanaut/lootas/whatever first, giving your boys more time to slog.
Last thing, make sure you're playing with the appropriate amount of terrain. (About 25% of the board should be terrain, at least that was the old rule.) If those armies get you on a pool table, you're hosed no matter what.
Good luck! *pops a sick wheelie, waaaghs into the sunset*
