Right quick question here and this is more of a fluff question maybe tactically too.

I have the FW limited edition centurion(the one that came with a power fist and foot on top of rubble) now if I make him a praetor and give a lightning claw i can upgrade this to a Raven Talon so 30pts more expensive for this upgrade alone but would kind of "play" nicely with the Raven's ethos. In reality just 10 pts up from using the Raven's Talons (claw and powerfist come at the same price). Would this be good to see? or I just magnetize the arm - I can always magnetize the arm - i think lol.

Additionally I wanted to field a Centurion with a jetbike as a Champion (yes I know in principle a Chaplain would be preferable) with the same set up as before would be Raven like? Jetbikes with champion hunting back units or camping units.

I know one can do whatever one wants but as I build the Raven Guard army I did want to follow a kind of fluff and efficient build up.

The mightier the storm, the stronger the resistance!

Isn't it's 15pts for dual claws, then 10pts for the upgrade?

But anyway, claw and fist has always been a good build in my mind, and yes it's very raven guard, as they use the tools needed to get the job done, they are guerrilla fighters where the alphas are infiltrators /spies.

I swear by my Legion champion, not the best build I know but master crafted for free (sort of) is nothing to sniff at, ws6 also helps him out fight other cents, also on a jetbike, doesn't he get furious charge?

Furious Assault if the is the same as Furious charge yes you do. So +1S and +1I on charge.

A Chaplain with allow re roll to hit but that tallies better with Dark Furies

And a pair of lightning claws is actually 25 pts :( so 45pts when you upgrade both to Raven's Talons

The upgrade for one or a pair of lightning claws costs ten points flat, you dont pay to upgrade both.

Also, Furious Charge doesn't give +1I anymore, just +1S.

FAQ update on the Furious Charge? havent checked them lately tbh my fault on that

10pts per pair of Talons? Now that makes it interesting too although a jetbike being controlled by raven talons looks silly in my opinion hehe

Yeah its just ten flat, and as Raven's Talons are supposed to be the artificers best work, you could just model them to be like The Night Haunter's Mercy and Forgiveness, two blades on the back of the arm, which allow normal PA Gloves for manipulation of the Jetbikes controls.

Not an FAQ, but an Update to 7th edition . Now, not sure what you play otherwise, because in 40k the Blood Angels (who all have furious charge) have a Formation Rule that gives them +1I on the charge, but that's just a BA thing. Also, the Dark Furies (Rg-specific Jump dudes, all equipped with Raven's Talons with the new red book) Have a special rule that gives them +1I on the charge, as well as furious charge.

That's right, him and his unit, although oddly of all the primarchs, corax works best not in a unit
