So in three games Ive played recently, I've seen moves that really didn't feel right, but couldnt find anything about it in the rule book, so came here for help.
Game 1: Against Grey knights, a draigo star dropped down about 12 inches from my riptides which were standing behind a solid wall about 2/3 the height of a riptide (taller than draigo by a good way), which was about 12" wide. a turn later, he moves directly closer to them and charges through it, jumping over the wall with terminators. We didn't discuss any terrain other than cover saves granted (4+)
Game 2: Ravenwing bike formation. Skilled rider black knights just moved over buildings, one was the same height as my WK, and the other was a single storey, only one door/opening nowhere near either the entrance of exit point.
Game 3: Thunderwolf cavalry moving straight over a 12" high solid wall, that was used previously in imperial fortress defence scenario, so this was a seriously massive chunky bit of terrain.
Any idea about formal rules that affect any of the above, or discussions that should be had to clarify things.

You can move through ruin walls, regardless of placement of doors/windows. Not sure about other stuff, but I think you may have been cheated.

1) If it was simply classed as difficult terrain then models can move freely through difficult terrain, unless agreed otherwise
2) do you mean buildings or ruins? Buildings are impassable terrain, from memory. ruins are difficult terrain (dangerous for bikes) and can, as before, be moved across freely
3) Again, if it is not classified as impassable, it can be moved across.
In short, dscuss terrain beofre hand. If something "should" be impassable, agree it as such.
For all the above usual requirements e.g. LoS for charging are not rmeoved.

thanks, feels right, ruins can be barged through, and makes sense to be as such, but impassable is impassable, unless to skimmers or flyers.

Agreeed, impassable is impassable. But if you didnt state it was impassable, and it wasnt a type of terrain "inherently" impassable...what did yo uexpect?
It is critical to discuss these before the game.

As stated, this is one of those spots where having a brief chat with your opponent before the game is helpful. Defining what terrain does what is useful to make sure both players are on the same page. Is that green lake simple water, or is it boiling acid? Are those crumbling walls part of an ancient Ruin, or do they only offer the same protection as a forest? Is that wall full of openings, or is it impassable?
That said, it sounds like your opponents were all too happy to ignore the spirit of the rules and abuse your silence over whether or not to define things. However, if that building was actually a ruin, then yeah, this is one of those spots that Skilled Rider shows exactly how broken and silly it is.

In scenario 1, did he have Line of Sight to your models when he attempted to charge? Even though he is able to move thru terrain, I think he needs line of sight in order to declare a charge?

Its no more "abuse" of silence than the opponent can claim that, if the OP had stopped them moving through, that the OP had "ambushed" them into making a poor move / run / whatever as their intended result was n o longer possible, as the OP has "changed" the rules regarding the terrain
Its why these sorts of assumptions are dangerous.

This right here is what I was wondering, No LOS no charging.

I frequently drive rhinos up into third floor ruins. Forge the narrative, my warpsmith just fitted some Heretical Bouncy Hydraulics! Really though with all the assault jumps and turbo boosting 36" shenanigans, driving a rhino up into a building to secure an objective hidden on the top floor seems fine. Same goes for bikes, my csm are so buff they just shoulder their bikes and clamber up the ladders.

At the back of the Space Marines book there is a comic of some White Scars fighting Dark Eldar.
This is precisely what happens!
