Well, its not Startrek.com, but its something.

I can't remember much (I can't view the link at work, BBG is blocked), but I do remember that the Klingons are getting a Retail version of the Cloaked Mines! Gowron as an Admiral, with a pretty solid ability. I wish he had a bonus to captain skill, but eh, I can live with this. The ship ability is eh, discarding an upgrade just to cancel 1 hit is ok, but not insane. I can't remember much else besides being slightly disappointed in some of them. I am totally ok with this ship as a whole, I feel its a very solid release.

Looks like a good pack. My only complaint is that Detonation Codes is unique. It isn't uncommon to see 2-4 mine tokens.

Gowron should have been at least a +1 admiral. He did a decent job at inspiring the troops. The +0 just doesn't make scenes especially considering the time fram this ship is from, the high point of the Cardassian war before he Dominion enters. Klingons are kicking and taking names then

Aside from those two things it's a good back. It's not up there with the Haakona for me, but I am glad to see it isn't a Rotarran either. I will definitely get one, two is a possibility.

I like detonation codes. If your taking mines yourself it has a use even if your opponent doesn't. It also shakes up the meta in areas where everyone takes them.

Admiral Gowron is a disappointment, he's fleet action is nice but +0?

I also like the ships ability, and you know, it's finally another Vor'cha.

I agree, Detonation codes being unique is kind of a buzzkill, though I would also except it being a non-discard card.

Gowron still has an amazing ability, especially since its for a faction that doesn't have a natural Battle Stations.

Over all, I like this one, a lot.

Nice pack, good to see a useful Kurn finally. Borak and Security sensors should have been cheaper, but you can't have everything I guess .
Gowron seems really good, at the same time I find it fitting that he has quite a low skill.

2 hot cards IMO other than that costs are still a little too high.

Agreed. the cost for a lot of the cards are a little high, and I am not sure I understand the reason Detonation Codes is a 4 point Action-Discard.

I am still fairly pleased with this one as a whole though. The Klingons really needed a nice boost, and this has done just that.

She's a tiger... Gowron can stay as a Captain if you ask me, better Klingon Admiral choices out there anyway. The other really nice thing is that it's a useful ship that comes with the cloaked mines. We Romulans have to suffer a trash ship to get them, Klingons get a ship that can happily stack up.

I would take the Gowron Admiral over the others. The Martok admiral isn't as good as the captain and Gorkon is meh. With admiral Gowron you can still take either Martok 8 or 9.

I really like Gorkon, but I agree with Mr Baldrick that Gowron is the best of them.

Gorkon would be my second pick.IIRC he rolls 3 defense dice and adds that many evade token beside the ship. Not bad but not a guarantee either but costs an action.

Martok on the other hand is an action for +1 die convert 1 hit to a crit AND -2 defense. That is a little steep for a faction low on defense. You are better off using Drex still an action change 1 BS to a crit and the rest to hits

So I can see the value of Gorkon and if you are on a hot rolling streak he will annoy the hell out of an opponent. However Gowron is basically a free BS. Yes he is an action but gives a free action bar action. So BS and evade or BS and cloak, BS and TL = Qapla

My big question is does Gowron get around a Damaged Sensor Array Technically it isn't coming from the action bar he just allows one printed on the action bar. That can vary depending on what ship he is on. Action bart of a D7 not the same as a Vor'Cha.

Gorkon: yep, that's him. He's most beneficial when it's not your only action for the turn (thanks Martok!)

Anything that lets factions light on BS get BS tokens is alright in my book. So, yeah, getting it + being able to recloak is real good, imo.

As far as Damaged Sensor Array, he would give you the battlestation, but you wouldn't get the free action. They've been pretty clear on their rulings in similar situations. DSA is a pain.

My biggest problem with the Martok Admiral isn't that his action is bad, it's because you lose one of the few pieces of action economy in the faction because you don't get to use Good Martok anymore. (I mean, his action is pretty bad, but it would have to be pretty amazing to make up for it...)
