I am currently working on my Ork army and once that's finished I am looking to delve into the Blood Angels! This is a list i've been brewing on for a couple of days and i'd very much love some input on it.

Baal Strike Force Detachment
HQ's

Librarian: Gallian's staff, JP, ML 2 115pts

Sanguinary Priest: The Angel's Wing 85pts

Troops

Cassor the Damned 140pts

9x Tactical Squad: Flamer, Heavy Flamer, Drop Pod 190pts

Elites

8x Death Company: 2x Bolters, 2x PF's, 6x bolt pistol and CS, JP's 234 pts

7x Death Company: 1x Bolter, 1x PF, JP's 186 pts

1x Furioso Dreadnought: PF, Frag Cannon, Heavy Flamer, Drop Pod 165pts

5x Sanguinary Guard: Chapter Banner, 1x PF, 4x Encarmine Swords 200pts

Fast Attack

Drop Pod 35pts

Heavy Support

5x Devastators: 4x missile launchers 130 pts

5x Devastators: 4x Lascannons 150 pts

LoW

Dante 220pts

1850/1850pts

The general battleplan should be clear. Librarian goes with the biggest squad of DC and buffs them or sang guard with Sang powers (cool thing about sang primaris is that I can buff Cassor the Damned, because he is a character).
Dante and the Sang priest go with the Sanguinary Guard and combining the angel's wings and Dante's warlord trait making for a reliable deepstriking unit.
Should I come up against a psyker army I can swap out my Librarian for Astorath the Grim, after fumbling around a little with point costs on different units.

Thank you for reading!

Can you fire flakk missiles with those MLs? If not, I'd go for more lascannons.

Looks good overall. Watch out for horde armies. You'll also have a tough time competing with MSU style armies who'll beat you at objectives. I was gonna say psyker armies, but you have a back up plan for that.

On the other hand, you'll put the fear into gunlines and shooty armies in general and you can hold your own vs other CC armies, but your deathstar isn't a top tier tournament level deathstar so avoid sticking it in vs those units. Think Tiggy with invisability and some SW and 2 or 3 more ICs with 2++ rerolls. You'll still do some damage, but probably won't come out on top. Try to beat those lists on objectives instead.

The Flakk missiles would cost 40 points more so, no I won't be able to. The reason I went for ML and LC is because when you buy 2 devastator boxes you can WYSIWYG them, and I feel missile launchers stock are pretty decent against light vehicles and MEQ and even hordes.
And yeah I figured that I would lose against MSU style armies, and I also figure I can bring a Culexus assassin in a rhino against psyker heavy armies (Seer Council..).
The "deathstar" is pretty much there because I really like the models and feel it could do alright against most armies.

Sounds good but what if you drop one dev squad and a couple of DC and take a SR to transport the Dreadnought and a squad of DC so you can deploy them faster I think and you have a flying Heavy.

Are SR's really that good? I'm still on the fence about them, won't they get shot to pieces when my opponent knows there's a DC squad inside AND a dread, and when ti does go down the DC will pretty much insta die, no? Also the DC goes down turn 1 with the furioso so he'll be in combat turn 2 should he survive, don't know how the SR would make it faster. It does give me reliable AA, which this list does lack. In order to make it work I had to cut the Lascannon dev squad and drop the jump packs from the smaller DC squad and the drop pod to make it fit in, would that be worth it?

In my opinion SR are worth. They are flying Landraiders, 14 AV all around except for the rear, they come in zooming so everyone shooting at it fires at snap shot unless they have skyfire missiles. you can then Hover the SR and deploy your troops and charge all in the same turn since SR are assault vehicles. They have missiles, twin link multa-melta (changeable with more missiles or heavy bolter twin link ), twin link lascannon (changeable with twin link autocannon or twin link plasma cannon) and hurricane sponsons.

But this is all up to your own play style and if you think its worth, again this is my opinion and I think it is worth.

Doesn't the Stormraven have Armor 12 all around? Or am I missing something?

You are correct! that's why I'm so uncertain of them, having to go into hover to drop their passengers with only armour 12 is risky in my eyes. Having 200 points getting shot down is ehhhh.
