Have any of you guys used these? I built a 'Cassor the Damned' model out of a heavily converted Contemptor a little over a year ago, but since he's unplayable and blood angels are unplayable I figured if I magnetized the melta gun to attach a graviton gun instead he'd make a pretty rad / fluffy contemptor cortus (since they're supposed to be insane anyway, not too different from death company dreads) .
I feel like 150 pts for a model that has the same forward facing defense against shooting as a normal contemptor, plus with speed and close combat boosts, is pretty awesome, so hopefully he'll work out well for me.

I think they can be pretty good with proper support, though I wont like: most of the time I use them, it's cause I wanted to fit a contemptor, but ran out of points

Agree with this so much. It's such a point saver to switch to a cortus and Nova charge powers are actually a buff over the vanilla contemptor.

Cool! I've mentioned before in previous threads that I feel like the blood angels assault cannon upgrade is the only thing that makes a dual close combat weapon contemptor viable, but I can see this loadout working on the cortus class as well. Glad to hear you guys have had positive experiences with em!

The dual melee with twin chem heavy flamers are fun.
