I'm curious as to which Destroyer weapon profile people choose to use between 40k and 30k and why.

I don't have access to the 30k optional rules, as I have only the Taghmata Omnissiah army list and Book IV: Conquest.

I prefer 30k. Truly destructive power. It's not the power of the shot I have a problem with in 40k, it's the amount of platforms that can take it.

It should be in that book, it's in the basic Age of Darkness rules from memory, which are in every red book to date

If you can tell me what page they're on I would be much oblidged. I have read the book cover to cover but do not recall them.

Yeah I had an elder person complaining about how broken 30k legions were and I had to stop and ask him how many D or D-like weapons do you have in your codex again? We have one that I know of on a Fellblade and the other on a Thunderhawk if I remember right. Not sure what mechanicus has since I don't play that army.
I actually never realized that 30k and 40k D weapons were different rules.

If you dont short hand your list, Im not reading it.
Example: Assault Intercessors- x5 -Thunder hammer and plasma pistol on sgt.
or Assault Terminators 3xTH/SS, 2xLCs

30k has a different set of option D weapon rules (basically designed to stop turn 1 popping of super heavies, but still able to wreck everything
