Bossk-Dengar, Zuckuss, 4-LOM, mangler cannon, anti-pursuit lasers, Wired, Inertial Dampeners 48
Kath Scarlett-Veteran instincts, tractor beam, K4 Sec. Droid, Glitterstim, Engine upgrade 49
I've run this list and it is brutally effective. I'm thinking of dropping the tractor beam but I feel like it could be nice to try and run ships off the board, or onto asteroids/deny them shots and she can make Bossk not have to stress himself potentially to get all his hits through. Being able to 0 stop is nice. My main concerns are that certain builds will give me real trouble. Double ghost/decimator, Palp Aces, crack swarms, although I can kill an Awing/TIE pretty reliably with Bossk, will all give me trouble I think. Palp Aces in particular kinda hard counters this, especially if they're using the new reinforced deflectors on the Palp shuttle. Anyways, lemme know what you think, I am going to be running something like this at a tournament next week, I feel comfortable with these ships I've run them alot, and to great success.

How has the zuckuss - wired interaction worked for you? How many rerolls do you usually average? Do you always have them reroll 2 on the first pass to stay stressed?
No one swarms around you much I'm guessing? It looks fun to fly, I wonder if the tractor beam is worth it though where you only have 2 sources of shots. I almost wonder if bombs wouldn't help more.
Maybe give us a report on how you did. Missiles and torpedoes look like they would eat this alive

The tractor beam isn't just about the agility penalty. Moving a ship onto a rock before it can shoot can save you some damage, and that's probably worth one point.

There is no such thing as a hobby without politics. "Leave politics at the door" is itself a political statement, an endorsement of the status quo and an attempt to silence dissenting voices. |

I'm not sure I would trust my dice to make the shot count even with a focus and TL

It's hardly do or die.
Die. Dice. Get it?
Again, as Peregrine said, it's 1 point. If you weren't planning on using your cannon slot and have spare points, why not?

It worked pretty good, I faced off against a ghost-falcon and an imperial aces build, and both were decently close but I won. My dice luck with Bossk has been crazy, with all those rerolls(its usually me rerolling 2 dice with 1 hit, since you asked) I've been getting a crit on almost every attack even without mangler.
I would agree the thing I fear most with this build is heavy-hitting ships and alpha strikes. And I've been just making anyone reroll all their evade results with Bossk. I've founf the zuckus-4Lom combo to be just unfair on high agil ships. Bossk blows up an Imperial Ace almost every round, or if not, at least gets 1-2 damage through, even with stealth device and whatnot.

Hey, thanks for replying. I think your list is awesome and looks like a lot of fun. Half our group is casual, competitive, the other half is balls to the wall all the time and they either don't play usually, except in tournaments. I just know our Store Championship had 3 torpedo u-boats among the usual aces etc. lists. I haven't tried a full alpha strike list myself to see how effective it would be, but would definitely be nervous about having only two ships to dual with, esp since bossk could take 12-14 hits in one round of shooting and only get 3 evade rolls. Without the tractor beam ( which is intended for aces I know) I would be concerned about the amount of damage you could do to such a list. That was my only remark. Bossk puts out 3-4 Kath 2-3 on average

I played in a tourny today, didnt face off against any triple uboats but I faced my friend's list(2 Uboats and 4-LOM) and crunched it twice in a row in friendly matches. He was using the Overclocked R4 though, which in my oppinion is weaker, although cheaper, than the R4 agro, and is more versatile for defense, but cripples your ship too much. I have tweaked the list a bit and taken out the tractor beam to put Feedback Array on Bossk instead of Inertials. I regretted this choice to be honest. There were many times I would have liked to and I didnt feedback once. Maybe It's just cuz I'm not used to it, but Bossk needed to 3hard every turn to set up shots, and I don't think Bossk ever had a turn when he wasn't shooting something, maybe once or twice, but he got focused hard. Anyways, small battle reports.
Match 1-I was a bit rusty and flow poorly against a scum swarm. He had 2 G1A starfighters, 2 Kihraxz, and a Z-95. My mistake here was running my two ships in a line and coming around at him in a weird way. If I faced him again I would crush him, and I actually might have won if I hadnt forgotten to Zuckuss one of his evades on his Kihraxz(which would have killed him with a crti to 2 dmg.) 100-40 for him(Kath finished that Kihraxz but she took too many hits from the enemy ships, he kinda boxed me in, and I should have 4-straight out of the furball, but as I said, was working out the kinks) I also had REALLY bad dice, Bossk did like 4-5 damage in 2 shots with the crits, which is really low for him. The lack of Dengar's 2nd reroll definitely kicked my ass, plus ALL the TLd red dice just SMASHED Bossk.
Match 2-This game was against a total casual player who is an employee at the LGS. He ran The Inquisitor with TItle, AT, and Juke, Krassis with HLC, Merc copilot, and stealth device, and a plain Dark Curse. This game was a SLAUGHTER. I slow rolled up on him he set up right across from me. He flew into the Asteroid field, and navigated it with usual TIE fighter grace, but Krassis ended up on one of my debris fields(I brought debris for Bossk's sake. Kath can dodge em but Bossk needs to do 3-hards careless off the debris.) Bossk blew up Dark Curse in a SINGLE shot, as he's wont to do with TIEs, and Kath put a damage onto Krassis I think. Krassis then landed a 4-K blocking Kath, and getting just on the other side of Bossk's maneuver, and range one'd him. Kath and Bossk just knocked the rest of Krassis' hull down over the next two turns, and I think did a damage to the Inquisitor, who was boost-barrel rolling to get me in arc and not doing much damage. I then was in position to come in on the Inquisitor and box him in and I think Bossk 1-shotted him as well. He had REAL bad dice but K turning over that debris field denied Krassis actions for his short life, and he wasnt TLing with the Inquisitor enough, he isnt that great of a player, as I said. 100-0
Match 3-I was against Super Dash(EU, Title, HLC, PTL, Kanan Jarrus), Sabine Wren in the Attack shuttle, with Push the Limit and Nien Nunb, this guy flew kinda poorly as well. Instead of flying Dash away from me at range 3 he came in too close, and couldnt focus his fire with his other ships on Bossk. Bossk stripped the Awing's shields and then Kath bumped it, and then shot it with her butt-gun and killed it. Sabine just went down in 1 shot from Bossk. Bossk Focused down Super Dash and kicked his ass with some really good rolls(with wired and Dengar, I was getting 3 hits with Mangler ever time.) I believe he managed to kill Bossk with his shot back with Dash so he got 49 points.
Round 4-This one was tough. I was 2nd ranked at this point, since everyone had gone 2-1 except for that poor Krassis-running fellow. He lost every match, sadly. Anyways, this guy is one of the best players in the club, he was unning a super-chewie with Kaanan Jarrus, PTL, Title, Engine Upgrade, 3-PO, and Chopper with Hera Syndulla, Han Solo, FCS, and Autoblaster Turret. This is the matchup I was dreading I've rarely beaten this list without really good dice but it was really really close. We set up across from eachother We came in and traded shots, each giving as good as we got. There was a Falcon Bump-fest, and shots were traded. Kath got it worst, and was pretty quickly killed, but the Falcon was brought down to 3 Hull from combined shooting, and all the shields stripped off the Ghost. Bossk got turned around and shooting at the Ghost as the Falcon came slowly around the board when suddenly he gets an AMAZING 2-hit 2-crit roll that I roll 1 evade on I believe, giving me 2 PS-0 crits, so now I am shooting last and at about 3 hull or so. The Falcon comes in on me as I fly away from the Ghosts's autoblaster, and he just pounds me with 4 hits and kills me. 50-100. I came 4th overall out of like 12 guys. Not bad for my first tourny!
