Subject: Black Legion Formations question

Hello Dakka,
Been fooling around with the black legion formations a bit and I have a question to submit to you all.
For this discussion, we will be using:
Formation 1: Chosen of Abaddon
- Sorcerer as warlord
- 6x chosen
- DreadClaw Assault Pod as dedicated transport to the chosen squad
Formation 2 : Cyclopia Cabal
- 3 sorcerers
Sorcerers are independent characters, they normally can join any unit (even units with other independent characters)
The question is this:
At deployment time, could I make the 3 sorcerers join with the chosen unit in the drop pod ? (It fits 10 and would be considered as one unit)
This would make one hell of a drop pod!

I believe so.
Just be careful landing it. I don't think that the dreadclaw has the Inertial Guidance System (at least, the 30k version doesn't).
That is a lot of points to lose to a mishap!

Sounds legit. You have to be careful with the deep strike, but the zooming movement makes up for it.
If you roll one of the sorcerors with Maelific, then it counts as a technomancer and can prevent the dreadclaw eating one of your guys through daemonic possession.

Provided none of the Sorcerers were in TDA and the Chosen unit is 6 or less. If the Chosen is a 5 man, then one can be TDA. Unless the Cyclopia has a Restriction on who they may join, of course.

The Cyclopia Cabal formation has no restriction other than the 3-5 sorcerers
On a side note: Warning- Do NOT google Cyclopia.
Don't do it.
