New Anvil Strikeforce from AoD. No infantry models needed (well Techmarine here or there). You can pick any tank to be your warlord. If I got off my butt and finished all my models I could field this army just for fun.

I like the idea but the Spearhead is too many points if you aren't taking advantage of it's transport capacity and the fact that they are assault vehicles.

Maybe just go with two Armored Spearheads?

I like autocannon predators with lascannon sponsons. The full dakka is too many points for a vehicle vulnerable to grav et al.

Speaking of grav, consider a Void Shield Generator if you don't mind a CAD.

Well the point is to just field tanks. And this is all the tanks I own.

Thats nonsensical. A pred with lascannon sponsons is even more expensive and just as vulnerable. And again, a CAD is not conducive to the Anvil Strikeforce.

Sorry I misunderstood what you meant by "full dakka". I thought that meant full upgrades. If you mean heavy bolters and autocannon, that's good don't change them.

Nice list ..would prolly beat my standard ork list ..would be fun fight against this list thou a lot of fun..

Couldnt imperial guard have all tanks and better and more dakka with lrbt?

I agree with this, but if it's all the tanks you own, go for it. It still feels weird having nothing in Land Raiders haha.

As a hypothetical:

One Armoured Task Force with a Squadron of Vindicators in place of the Land Raiders would do the trick rather nicely because if you run Vindicators, you need something just as scary to force your opponents to prioritise one scary thing or the other. And what's just as scary (if not, more scary) than a Squadron of Vindicators? A Squadron of Vindicators in an Armoured Task Force with their buddies that make up that Formation! haha

even a few tactical squads or scouts in those land raiders could score you objective points

From the Restrictions for the Anvil Strike Force:

This Detachment must include a Transport vehicle for each unit of Infantry.

The Armoured Spearhead by itself doesn't have a Transport for the Techpriest to ride in The best way to get a Transport is to either take the Mechanised Infantry Auxiliary choice and leave room for the Techpriest in one of the unit's Dedicated Transports or take a Land Raider via the Masters of the Armoury Command choice.

I do have a squadron of vidicators in this list.

Also to take advantage of the new Technomancy powers you could do this:
