Is there a max number of devices that can be singed into dakka and actually remember my login? It seems to be 4, but maybe I'm just acting a fool.

You're doing well for four... I've never been able to log into a second device without it ending my first session.

I had 3 with no issue, but recently got 2 cheap iPads and can't bounce between them without one getting signed out. How can I go on without my dedicated bathroom iPad?!

I've had quite a few at once: I can stay logged in on my phone, my tablet, and my laptop at home (all on the same network) while also still staying logged in at work.

But for some reason I can only be logged in on one work computer at a time.

There is no technical limit, but if you sign in on two identical browsers/devices, the security measures will log you out to make sure it is not a hijacked session from someone dodgy. While it sounds over the top, it is something that is attempted very frequently by automated bots working out of russia and china.

...Doesn't every (non-jailbroken) iPad's browser identify as webkit (safari) though? (Last I heard Apple didn't allow 3rd party browsers to use their own rendering engine...)
