I am trying to come up with a decently competitive list using the new Daemonic Incursion formation. I am trying not to use special characters to avoid being list tailored. All detachments and special characters are shown beforehand.

Daemonic Incursion:
Warpflame Host-
Tzeentch Herald - lvl 3, paradox, disc, warlord, +1 str to powers locus
6 Exalted Flamers
3x11 Horrors of Tzeentch

Daemon Lords-
Lord of Change - impossible robes, lvl 3, 2x greater rewards, 1x lesser reward
Bloodthirster (most expensive one) - 2x greater rewards, skullcutter (6s to hit are str D)

Auxillary-
5 Furies

CAD:
Daemonic Heralds-
Herald of Tzeentch - lvl 3, grimoire of true names, disc
Herald of Tzeentch - endless grimoire

2x 3 Nurglings

7 Screamers of Tzeentch

2 disc heralds will be with screamers grimoired. Warlord will be shooting D and shooty Tzeentch powers from this bunker. I don't know if I will put the exalted flamers in the horror units or run them solo. Bloodthirster will fly around shooting D3 plasma shots or going for whatever big nasty they bring. Lord of Change will be keeping the screamers out of trouble. 16 psychic dice for summoning and shooty Tzeentch powers.

Next opponent is Eldar with 1 CAD and 2 Aspect Host formations. No idea what he is taking beyond that. Worst case scenario: scatbikes, wraithknight, and 6 units of warpspiders. I am wondering if my list above gives me a shot or if I need to tweak some things. Any tactical insights would be appreciated.

Just FYI there is nothing RAW that changes the rules that daemons can only take up to half rounded up of their psyker powers from their god, so endless grimour will only work if your warlord is ML1

.. Unless you choose to interpret the new tables as replacing that restriction.

Nothing in the new tables gives you a RAW reason to replace the separate paragraph that has the restriction in it.

Really guys? So let me get this straight...instead of tactics advice, you want to argue a point that is in contention? A RAW argument that literally has no effect on this list. If my opponent wants less people to play 40k with and argues this moot point, I will just give the walking herald ml 3 and the warlord herald ml1. For the record, I believe the take half your powers from the god tables in the old codex IS updated to not be a part of the new tables in Wulfen. It really has no bearing on the game whatsoever though. It is just another point for rules lawyers to argue about for the sake of arguing.

Can anyone please help with the list and tactics please? I thought that was what this sub forum was for.

I think the list looks very interesting. I'm finding it very hard to interpret how well they will play, as its a lot of spam needed to get going.

I would be tempted to take Fateweaver, to maximise control of the warp storm and keep the grimoire reliable.
