While I'd honestly just like to go the square route, it turns out that square bases in the numbers I need them are going to cost the same if not more than one of the big models for the Lizardmen army I'd like to run. Since the kits now come with round/oval/elliptical bases instead of square ones, I was considering trying to find round based movement trays instead of trying to find both square bases and square based movement trays. I have seen some on eBay, but they appear to all be made out of wood. The only issue I have with wood is that with fluctuations in temperature and moisture, wood (especially something like plywood) can eventually warp leaving me with a useless movement tray where the square-based movement trays I was looking into are made out of metal and still very affordable.

Anyone tried using round-based movement trays? Have you had good luck with them? If so, where is a good place to get them from or maybe a good seller on eBay?

Thanks in advance

Well other then the Wood Litko ones (which I am guessing are the ones you saw on Ebay) I don't really know of any others besides the Old GW trays for War of the Ring.

How well do the Litko ones work?

Thanks

Not sure why square bases are going to cost you too much money?
I bought 100 square bases 20mm just as extras and for giant rats off eBay for about ~$20 bucks with shipping.
I'd go that route vs finding round base movement trays
