Hey guys, been a while since I've even been into miniatures and war gaming but I'm thinking about getting back into it (since it's a fun little hobby and I love converting and modelling).

I'm playing around with the idea of making a Dark Souls theme Nurgle army, with lots and lots of huge armored soldiers who have inevitably gone insane and hollowed.
Honestly, one of the main reasons for my desire to get back into miniature gaming is the Putrid Blightking models.. I just think they're fantastic, and that's coming from someone who used to play Eldar

I'm thinking about buying the Age Of Sigmar starter set and just converting everything to look a bit more Nurgle-y or Dark Souls-ey.

One of the main ideas I have right now is converting the Putrid Blightkings into something like this guy:

Another point I have to make is that I don't want every model to be gross looking, since many of the enemies in Dark Souls are quite regal. Here are some examples:

But obviously I need a few ugly monsters like these guys:

As for colour schemes, I'm thinking most of the armour will probably be your standard shining steel with blood/dirt smeared all over, with skin-tones being incredibly pale and washed out.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Hey man,

I think the idea is really cool! where did you get those pictures from? The first picture is my favorite, I would do that color scheme.

Really love the idea for this. Curious if you could make the Capra Demon using Ogre banner as a head.

Did you mean these guys by any chance? I wonder what I could use for the giant machetes...
