Could someone shed some light on some Renegade Knight fluff for me? I was thinking of getting the new game with the 2x Knights and want to paint them up with colors that would go with my Iron Warriors army, but would it make sense for them to have an IW theme, as in, they are associate and fight with this warband exclusively? Or would it be best to make them seem more stand alone?

I would go with either renegade freeblade working with the Iron Warriors, maybe a shoulder or shin with IW markings to show the lier loyalty, rather than a full IW scheme. Or paint it up in Legio Mortis colors since some knights are seconded to titan legions and Mortis is well known for working with the IW.

Imperial knights are, pretty new as a front and center army, so there isn't a whole lotta info on em, and ziltch about renegades so.. chances are you're free to do your own thing

Opinions are not facts please don't confuse the two

House Caesarean allies with the Iron Warriors at some point in the Heresy, they might be a good fit. Don't think they have an established colour scheme though.
