Good morning! I've just gotten three colors on an AdMech Cohort Cybernetica formation and I'm looking forward to playing it. Specifically there's a nearby ITC tournament Memorial Day weekend. They haven't yet decided on the new Space Marine psychic powers, but I'm bringing a Culexus just in case.
++ Cult Mechanicus: Codex (2015) (Formation Detachment) (790pts) ++
Cohort Cybernetica (790pts)
··Kastelan Robot Maniple
····Cybernetica Datasmith [Conversion field]
····Kastelan Robot [Heavy phosphor blaster, Twin-linked heavy phosphor blaster]

··Tech-Priest Dominus [Autocaduceus of Arkhan Land, Conversion field, Macrostubber, Volkite blaster]
Since this is a rare formation: All three of these units act as one unit and they do not give up their 3 kill points until they're all dead. Instead of shooting, any of the three characters can redirect one robot's fire at another unit. This means the four robots can each fire six S6 AP3 shots at four separate units; they're only BS3 but half of those shots are twin-linked. The characters have 2+/4++ saves and the unit is T7 with a total of 18 Wounds. This unit usually walks up the center of the board firing at everything and charging anything that dares come close.
This Tech-Priest is often my Warlord because he's so hard to kill. There's other good relics, but the Autocadeceus is the best: it gives the entire unit It Will Not Die.
++ Dark Angels: Codex (2015) (Combined Arms Detachment) (920pts) ++
These Dark Angels are just aiming to claim objectives while the Giant Killer Robots dominate the center of the board with their shooting.
Sapphon - Interrogator-Chaplain (135pts) [Auspex]
··Power Armour [Bolt Pistol, Crozius Arcanum, Space Marine Bike]
I didn't want a Librarian because I'm bringing a Culexus. Always buy an Auspex.
+ Elites (275pts) +
Ravenwing Command Squad (275pts) [6x Black Knight, Nephriel - Ravenwing Apothecary, Ravenwing Grenade Launcher, Zaelion - Ravenwing Champion]
Best unit in the Dark Angel Codex.
+ Troops (355pts) +
Scout Squad (55pts) [4x Close combat weapons, 4x Scouts]
··Scout Sergeant [Bolt Pistol, Chainsword]
Tactical Squad (125pts) [Meltagun, 4x Tactical Marine]
··Drop Pod [Storm Bolter]
··Sergeant [Chainsword, Combi-Melta]
Tactical Squad (175pts) [Plasmagun, 4x Tactical Marine]
··Sergeant [Chainsword, Combi-Plasma]
··Vintage - Razorback [Dozer blade, Lascannon and Twin Linked Plasmagun]
The triumvurate of Space Marine Objective Secured: One Scouts, one drop pod, one mechanized. I know a Rhino may be more competitive, but I wanted to use my Razorback I painted two decades ago.
+ Fast Attack (155pts) +
Ravenwing Black Knights (120pts) [2x Black Knight]
··Huntmaster [Corvus Hammer]
Often Outflanking
Assassin Transport - Rhino (35pts) [Storm Bolter]
Do y'all think a Drop Pod is better than a Rhino for the Culexus?
++ Officio Assassinorum: Dataslate (2014) (Officio Assassinorum Detachment) (140pts) ++
Culexus Assassin
Never leave home without one. ITC tones down Invisibility but Psychic shenanigans are still a thing.
Get it! Send us feedback and we'll fix issues!
I know I can't compete for the top tables but I hope to break even. What should I watch out for?
Automatically Appended Next Post: Q: Can units that are Battle Brothers embark in each other’s Transport vehicles during deployment?
A: No.
