So with victory points, I have a clarification I need. The girlfriend and I have been playing and twice have got the Purge the Alien mission type.

Independent Characters count as a unit. If you kill a Warlord (independent character) does that give you 1 vp for slay the warlord, 1 vp for killing a unit, and potentially 1 for first blood for a total of 3 vp?

First Blood is considered a tabletop unit, though, IMO.

So if the IC was attached to a squad, you'd have to take down the whole unit to get FB.

That's what I thought. An IC is an IC whether with a unit or not for the sake of First Blood.
