I still need to borrow my friend's copy of the book to look over rules and decide for myself, but which do you guys think is more worth the money? The ADL $50, versus a the wall of martyrs defence network being about twice that. ADL is 5 meltas, wall of martyrs (which includes a bunker, a defence emplacement, and a defence line) is just over triple that. Covers a lot more board space and has the bunker to hide stuff in, but the points cost is a lot higher and is harder to place on the board.

Overall, which is more worth the money, and which is more worth the points? I do prefer the look of the WoM.

What are you using it for? ADL is great for gunlines, and the Quad Gun is a good defense against most fliers.

WoM is full static gunline, as you won't want to be moving off it anytime soon. You have to go full gunline, as it's a much more expensive points wise and you don't want your opponents taking it from you.

IG, plan on putting HWTs/vets inside the bunker, filling the trenches with guardsmen, then putting up some of those 10 point barricades (I think WoM can use them, need to check) to protect my tanks. Maybe some tank traps out front to ward off IK.

Then I think you'd get more use out of the ADL. WoM is hard for tanks to hide behind and still shoot. ADL>Guardsmen>Tanks is a classic/great setup because you're tanks can shoot over everything and barring outflankers/drop pods, your opponent has to go through the barricades and guardsmen to get to your tanks. If you can, take the Barbed Wire (?) upgrade, it makes anyone who assaults your Guardsmen take a DT test.
