Hello all,

maybe I am missing something, but I've read a few posts here about how good the Necron Solar Pulse is (from the Solar Staff) vs Tau, because it helps your unit with the staff survive 1 turn to get in CC range, cause it forces the enemy to snapshot on that unit.

What I don't understand is, can't the Tau just use their markerlights to up their BS to shoot at that unit (cause markerlights can up the BS even for snapshots).

Is there something I am overlooking which makes them unable to do that ?

Any clarification would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

Senari

PS : sorry if this has been asked before, but I couldn't find a specific post about this

They still have to hit with the marker lights first (now snap firing) before they can use them to modify snap shots.
