Hey folks. I'm writing this on behalf of my wife who has been loving getting into Middle-Earth SBG with me, but who is struggling a bit. We both play numerous armies, but she has really taken to Wanderers of the Wild and wants to, more often than not, run pure Wild lists.
Any tips for working around the general lower model count? So many scenarios seem to come down to objectives that rely on model-count. So loved her Treebeard, Ents, Gwahir, Eagles, etc... and we just ordered a box of Woses Warriors with Ghan-buri-Ghan, which I hope will help just in bulking out her raw numbers.
Also, anyone have any good tips for storing them all? We have hundreds of infantry for the game that fit nice and cozy in foam, but the eagles and ents in particular are soooo unwieldy.

The new Citadel accordian foam cases are actually pretty fantastic for the oddly-shaped models. I got the tiny one and regretted not getting a larger one. In fact I do plan on buying the bigger one to house my ents and eagles (like 7 ents and 5 eagles...) These guys:

I use Battlefoam trays for my infantry (44 and 55 model trays mainly, that are the same size as the older GW 36-hole trays) and just got the new Battlefoam iso trays as they fit cavalry with lances and whatnot perfectly - http://us.battlefoam.com/categories/Battle-Foam-Trays-%2815.5-x-12%29/Iso-Foam-Trays/

Thanks Doug. I use very similar foam trays for my infantry, and yeah... they house nicely and are safe. No problems there. It was definitely the oddball models that I am having difficulty finding a permanent solution for. I'll definitely be looking into your suggestion, thanks!

There are a number of manufacturers who sell cases that hold pick-foam trays. The trays generally come in different thicknesses to fit everything from 15mm infantry to 28mm tanks and other large vehicles. I use Sabol Design ArmyTransport cases, but Figures in Comfort, Battle Foam, and KR Multicase also make them.

Any good "cheap" options for this particular case (its for so few models, and I don't see us adding a lot of Middle-Earth "big" items, per se.
For example, we backed a KS called "The Mini Box" which was for a heavy card-stock, reinforced box, with infantry foam, which is where my wife's.... God.... 300-ish 40k Orks now reside. :-p Sadly, that seller promptly went out of business. lol
