So after a recent few games yesterday with the club for our necromunda campaign, my poor, battered (but majorly leveled up) gang has become quite an amusing small gang with such a small gang rating compared to the rest of the club (Folks with Van Saars, scavvies and such - Around the 2,000 mark). But I thought I'd share with you their current stats after 6 games (1 Win, lost three territories and only made one back for now- Down to a Docks and Slag), and I'd be interested to see how other folks have gotten on with their own! It's just amusing to me how my two surviving previous Juves, Carrot and Young Sam, became really good at combat after just dishing out lots of wounding hits (Carrot got 20+ XP in one match!), but since I'm limited to metal models (All are the original metal cawdor) it's hard to model them otherwise, however I'm working on getting some of the cultist members that do look like cawdor dudes and throw them in as newbies or to act as same dudes you see here, but with different equipment (Seriously tempted to change gear up if I get enough credits, which is unlikely - I've just got some decent combat based dudes now).

Ah I fondly remember previous Necromunda Campaigns. Most recently I ran a Goliath gang (Grimskraga's Razorfangs) which I ended up retiring when they got just a little too powerful and switched to a Van Saar gang that was getting slapped all over the place by the more powerful gangs.

You have no heavies in your list. Is that intentional or did they catch a bullet? Can be hard to come back from the loss of a heavy.

Man how powerful did they get? (We got one dude who has orks in place of goliaths!)

And sadly yes he died yesterday to a giant wolf spider we made (4 wounds, S4, T4 which was worth a lot of credits!) and it was brutal, luckily I beat up the opposing gang enough so they bottled and I didn't have to deal with it further! Though it dropped my gang rating massively, but at the loss of the stubber!

HOWEVER, poor Brutus, my newly deceased Heavy, gave me some use! As I had taken out much more of my opponent's gangers than he did of mine, I managed to capture myself a new territory, a docks! This meant I sold poor Brutus for a decent price (Though losing the heavy stubber, autopistol and such still sucked!)

We have a pretty terrain heavy board, so my Heavies use Flamers more than the Heavy Stubber.

In our campaigns we never remodeled the dudes since we knew the names/stats of each guy based on what they looked like anyway. We knew Cawdor Juve 01 was Dirty Harry with grenades, Stub Gun, and Knife and Orlock Ganger #4 was Pancho with sword, Shotgun, manstoppers, and blindsnake pouch. No re-model required as each guy had their own rep as a model.

I am fortunate to have over 20 models of Van Saar and 20 of Goliath (various breakdown of Ganger/Juve/Heavy/Leader) so have model almost every combination I could ever dream of so am able to swap models in and out as my roster changes.

Damn I love Necromunda, need to try and get involved in another campaign again......

I find I like to start a campaign with a Heavy with heavy weapon and a heavy with special weapon, nothing quite so nerve wracking as choosing to use high power on that plasma gun.

Ya got some nice warbands there! My favourite has to be the initial one, mainly just cause of your super tanky dude!

I'm pleased to even have two 2 wound dudes, even one with T4! Though I'm most pleased with my juves, as they're all pretty decent at melee now! Just my major issue is that I only have a slag and Dockyard left, so...Not much cash unless I beat a gang with a huge rating (Likely buy more juves...Or save up for a heavy if I can)

I always kept my gangs WYSIWYG; partly by simply having loads and loads of models available (many converted with assorted special and/or power weapons) or by just restricting my purchases ingame to the models I had available.

I've still got the roster for my first ever gang, the Euries Escher gang.

Famous members include the leader, Wily Jo; WS 6, BS 5, I 5, A2, armed with a power sword, wearing mesh armour. Also has a head wound (and skull-chip), 3 old battle wounds (but never missed a battle!) and at some point a serious arm injury, as she also has a bionic arm. 400 credits, 401 XP.

2 Heavies; one with a heavy plasma gun, monosight, grav-chute, bulging biceps and BS5 (and an old battle wound, chest wound and an arm wound). The other is a relative newcomer with a heavy stubber.

In total, the gang has 13 members; one with over 400 XP, 4 over 300, 4 over 200 and 2 over 100. The gang rating is 4932. Mind you, the rest of the gangs in that campaign were equally powerful.

Love the clown enforcers! I also love that they're based on old mordian minis! Great work on these guys.

We do a Necromunda Campaign night every few months though it's kind of trailed off recently as a couple of the regulars have had a hard time making it to games. Generally the tables are packed with terrain though so it's a great time when we do get to play. Here's an example of two games next to each other.

I'm rather obsessed with urban terrain...

We try to keep mostly to WYSIWYG, Most of our gangs are around 15 figs or more so there's alot of variety to play with and figs to swap out for new weapons loadouts. We've been using the Yaktribe "Necromunda Community Edition" which isn't a new edition so much as a very tightened up edit of the "Underhive/Living Rulebook" version. Very clear and well attended to and I can't recommend it highly enough.

My main gang is Van Saar

Mostly stock with 4 conversions.
http://chicagoskirmish.blogspot.com/2014/10/new-paint-for-old-friends-necromunda.html
I've also embarked on a project to have each of my other gangs painted by a friend of mine, usually inexchange for me making terrain for them.

The first was my Escher gang painted by a buddy who now lives in Hawaii.
All stock except for a converted Demonblade games Dominatrix.

http://chicagoskirmish.blogspot.com/2015/09/the-exchange-with-mattias-part-2-escher.html

A Delaque gang made from converted East Riding "Slicks" minis is with a friend here in Chicago

If you've got the bits and alot of patience, it's a nice cheap way to make a flavorful gang.
He's going to paint them in a scheme somewhat similar to my Scummer.

https://yaktribe.org/community/threads/eilifs-chicago-gangland-update-4-19-slick-delaque-conversions-completed.3037/page-3#post-84292

A Cawdor gang is also currently being painted by a local friend and I'm about to base and send out my last batch of characters to another. Pics of both here:
https://yaktribe.org/community/threads/eilifs-chicago-gangland-update-4-19-slick-delaque-conversions-completed.3037/page-3#post-79717

Lastly I've also got an Orlock Gang out with a buddy in Washington. He's still settling into new digs, but I hope to have them by the end of the year.
Lots of interesting proxies that still keep the general Orlock look of biker jackets and bandanas.
https://yaktribe.org/community/threads/eilifs-chicago-gangland-update-4-19-slick-delaque-conversions-completed.3037/page-3#post-71074
5 are done already and the reset will be in this general style.

I love this game. If anyone in the Chicago area wants to come by to join the campaign or just have a one-off game, drop me a line. Even if you don't have your own minis, you're welcome to run the Escher.

Some really great Necromunda minis on show here. This game is easily my all time favourite GW game. Never gets old and its as adaptable as your imagination.

Here's my current gang. I play them as Cawdor, lots of bolt weapons and no heavies! Though I do have a plasma gun mini in case I change my mind or get a 'specialist'. I can't take credit for most of the conversion work. I saw these guys on eBay in a semi-complete state and just had to have them. I finished them off and added a couple and I still really enjoy playing them. I have them colour coded on the bases to help with identification during a game. It's a good system, I recommend it.

Here's a link to the rest of my huge collection in my Necromunda gallery. They're not all nearly as well painted as a lot of what's on display here but they're well played with and theres about a metric butt-load of them!

Love the Talarn figs. They're probably the best suited to Necromunda of all the IG factions.
