I did this list for a small casual game with a friend, hoping to run a game myself instead of having a more experienced player ensure everything runs smoothly.

Hunter Cadre Special Rules: The entire formation can use Supporting Fire, anyone within 12" of the Fireblade or Commander at the start of the shooting phase can run/flat-out before shooting

Id downgrade the bodyguards to normal crisis suits to be honest. Also I don't think you can take the ethereal as part of the hunter cadre but has to be part of the command detachment of the hunter contingent.

Also Im pretty sure you need to take 3 troops options too.

Points costs are GW's Intellectual Property and you need to edit them out for Dakka.

Go with a regular CAD, and not Hunter Cadre, because you'll gain ObSec FireWarriors and a 500 point table leaves a lot of room to *not* get assaulted ... pending SM bikes, Khorne Dogs, etc.

Toss. He's a double pointed Slay the Warlord score for your opponent, and the Honor Blade is especially bad points thrown away.

More bad. Crisis Suits are really bad in h2h, and with flamers, you'll be bringing them too close to the enemy. Dual PRs or MPs. And AEIOUMadden is right, have them as BodyGuard is a waste of points. Just regular Crisis Suits, each his own Elite slot, not needing a BK ritual.

Have Crisis Suits in as small units as possible, spread out through the Elite slots. It's called MSU strategy. Ethereal are a liability. And your Cmdr XV8 is you best shooter, so he should always have guns.

Skip upgrades in general when building lists, which you've done well enough here.
