They're nice, but they are also very close to the GW metal models. A bit thinner, that is.

To me, I don't see the need to take them to replace my whole army of 200+ sisters of battle. Nor even take them for celestial since they're clearly regular sisters of battle.

They lack bolt pistols, though. At least the metal models didn't make that mistake.

Here`s some info:

They will be on the western market, definately.
But at the moment, the guys from Grishnak are improving the production, so that every customer will recieve their orfder without it being late.
ETA of such improvements being done is the end of june.
Their own website is in the works, but it won`t have any direct sales/shopping carts to avoid you know whom. So emailing them will be required

Paypal and qiwi are the two ways of payment. They will try to sell through ebay as well.
The price tag will be around 1500 roubles, which is about 15 pounds at the moment.

And indeed they know how to speak english

I'll just translate Solar's replies, not the questions.

"Ronan, if you really want to run WYSIWYG, then yea you'd need the bolt pistol. But on the other hand, the huge holster on the hip would spoil the silhouette of the figure. That said, tournaments wont allow the figure as it is."

"Ronan, a Farseer/Warlock model is available, but not from me. See your PM."

"Kiril, we've got a new thread on whats coming next."

"(in response to a rather mean question of "Will the sisters get better faces?") Alexander, thats a good question. Let me say first of all, in my opinion, the faces are not bad. Second, Sisters of Battle are not super models. Third, When you're working at such a scale, work on face detail
is like a lotery. You arent able to have your hands control the process to the micron, and sometimes thats all that it takes to make the face attractive or not. Therefore, yea, we want to make pretty faces, but what we get sometimes depends on luck."

"(arent you scared of GW's wrath?) Well, no, because we dont sell the miniatures. Theres nothing illegal/forbidden about sculpting."

"You may be able to order them assembled from the other side (over seas), ask them if they are willing to."

Whats coming up next in the pipeline:

1. Individual melta weapons on sprues.
2. 5 Dynamic running poses
3. Retributors with heavy weapons in static/defensive poses
4. Tank kit that makes Immolator, Rhino, repressor, exorcist.
5. Sisters in non combat poses (praying, etc)
6. Cannoness character
7. Celestine "Power, passion, sexy"
8. Priests, 5 "Half mad" models
9. Repenting ladies (half naked models)
10. Commanders, models in ornate armor
11. Commanders with pistols and swords
12. Conclave crusaders/death cults

"(In response to a few "Where can I order?" questions) Sometimes the answer comes after a long wait...theres a lot of business/red tape...but you'll get an answer eventually.

"(In response to "can we order as a group?") Because we do not sell the models, ordering through this group would be full of problems. It would be better to establish a site for that."

They can go after them through credit card companies or paypal making it harder for them to pay.

Well, they are underneath armored cups at least. From Prodos, they would just be hanging out of holes in the armor, nipples and all.

This guy is clearly trying to stay true to the original design, which is commendable even if there are certain... elements that could have been improved upon further.

I'm pretty sure that's why GW is quietly hoping the line will quietly die off. I'd rather they remade them without the sexist armour.

I am sorry that you find the sisters of battle to be 'problematic', but I really miss the old witch hunter range... These models really have me tempted to go back and play 40k, I dropped out during 5th edition, but I have always wanted to have an army of Battle Sisters.

Ever since rogue trader, I have loved the sisters of battle. Sister sin helped set the tone from the earliest days.

In fact, the sisters of battle was my first true army that I bought, during third ed, and has been my weak spot for gw even though I no longer care about gw.

I am definitely ordering these. I care not if these are infringement. They are gorgeous and I want them. Just a squad, so I can have an example of my first love hanging out.

They will be mine. So khorosho!

Well yea I mean how else would we know they're female?

Don't get me wrong, I love sexy armor, but I don't think every single rank and file sister needs big honkers. Plus aren't they battle nuns? The last thing I think of when I think nuns is sexuality. Good models that could've been great models tbh.

I don't get, how people consider their armour sexist.
Why blood Angels' sanguinary guard breast plate isn't then?
And it's a uniform , so bras would be the same size anyway.
I hate, that sculpting a sexually attractive model is now considerd misogynistic.

It seems like every time boobies are not hidden underneath 5 layers of clothing on a model, some scandal is bound to happen.

I'm pretty sure, if you read the fluff, it'll explain to you, why sisters of battle would be "loud and proud" to show, that they are women. Thus trying to look in a most distinctive way from
Men

They are a "religious sisterhood", but it's a fictional church- it doesn't have to be akin to the ones we have on earth.

Ps: I miss Juan Diaz daemonettes.

I wish people would stop referring to using the same visual cues as a GW product as if it's similar to actually recasting GW models, they're not even remotely equivalent, and GW has exactly zero claim against these guys or anyone else making "Space Canadian Armymen", "Space British Soldiers from Zulu", "Space Nuns in Powered Armour", "Space Legionaries", "Holy Roman Empire Soldier with Fantasy Twist", or anything else along those lines. These are the miniature equivalent of making "GUDDI" handbags that happen to look very similar to designs put out by a certain designer label; it's not illegal, it's not unlawful, and it's not infringing any copyrights no matter what the imitated party would like people to believe.

I need to acquire plastic Skavenslaves, can you help?
I have a blog now, evidently. Featuring the Alternative Mordheim Model Megalist.

"The language of modern British politics is meant to sound benign. But words do not mean what they seem to mean. 'Reform' actually means 'cut' or 'end'. 'Flexibility' really means 'exploit'. 'Prudence' really means 'don't invest'. And 'efficient'? That means whatever you want it to mean, usually 'cut'. All really mean 'keep wages low for the masses, taxes low for the rich, profits high for the corporations, and accept the decline in public services and amenities this will cause'." - Robin McAlpine from Common Weal
