I've been messing around with Echo (decoy, recon, acd, jammer) in conjunction with Epsilon Ace (Com relay, SD) and another ps10 ace (tried VI Juno, not great results but I lost a cloaked echo to Vader in a 1 shot (hit, hit, free crit... all blanks on 5 dice and the crit was direct hit - forgot the sensor jammer ))... and it's a pretty good combination as long as one of your other ships can stay within R2

Here's a list that i've been running for the last three nights and have had three wins.

Fel
Royal Guard
Autothrusters
Twin Iion Engine
PTL

Cowall
Autothrusters
Vet Instincts

Whisper
ACD
Recon Specialist
Vet Instincts

admittedly my games have been against imperial fighters. game 1) dual defender list, game 2) Defender, two bomber list, game 3) whisper and two royal interceptors. two of the three games came down to my last ship (the phantom of course) with the second ending with me having Cowall and Whisper still alive.

Do you find the 3rd focus token useful on Whisper?

in the first two games no, the third yes. in the third a mate of mine was running Gunner in the phantom so the three did come in helpful passing two lots of shooting.

Hmm, I have working up a list with Echo and a miniswarm. Been practicing how the Phantom works. Only have one game with it, and that was before the change to cloaking rules. I barely see any turrets in the group I play with, and don't see very many aces above PS8 either right now. It was a hard choice between Echo and Whisper. But with Echo able to use the soft 2 to barrel roll and hard 1 as a move, I think his mobility is just plain better for how I play. And wanted to play around with Crack Shot.

Echo
-Advanced Cloaking Device
-Veteran Instincts
-Advanced Sensors

Howlrunner
-Crack Shot

Black Squadron Pilot
-Crack Shot

Black Squadron Pilot
-Crack Shot

Academy Pilot

I wanted to try Advanced Sensors on Echo because getting the option to do an action before movement I think can help provide a little more defense for when I do run into the PS9+ aces with a Focus before the combat phase.

Howlrunner and the Black Squadron Pilots will most likely get one good turn of shooting in formation. With the Academy Pilot running point in the formation. So I didn't want to have something that would be limited by them being stressed after a K turn or other effect and also wouldn't be hurt too badly by them not being able to perform an action either. Will be running it next week to see how it plays.

Three games in with that triple PS8 list of mine. I have taken two or three hits per game so far. It is insanely good to be able to decloak with the bank 2 template.

Sure, OL spends most of his game setting up his fully-loaded shots, but he's a very good distraction for Echo. I'm just not sure the list is that good because I have been having insanely hot dice since last week.
