I've been searching, but maybe I've missed something obvious.

Can Space Wolves take Cataphractii terminator armour? I was thinking about putting my Long Fangs in a pod with multi-melbas and a wolf guard wearing cataphractii to give them Slow and Purposeful.

I just can't take Long Fangs with missile launchers any more, those things just don't do anything. If the LFs can pop a vehicle or two, or even put some wounds on an MC (4 MM, 1 Plasma gun, 1 combi-plasma), they will be better than the usual glancing vehicles to death over 6 turns.

Whether they can or not be advised that FAQ states S&P is NOT conferred to the units precisely to stop that kind of thing.

So even if you can tough luck. Devs aren't S&P. Just the terminator.

As far as I know the FAQ is a draft. Kind of irrelevant as to what it says right now.

The only way to use Cataphractii outside of 30k is using two vanilla-specific units in Angels of Death.

I just use them as regular terminators as I like the look better.

Do you have a link to that? I've read the FAQ's and I would like to think a ruling like that would've jumped out at me more.
