As title says, I am after a list to work towards so this does not end up as a half finished dead project. I have a skaven/chaos force for epic 40k, and I have decided to upscale it to 40k scale.

Not played a game of 40k since the mid 90s, so I'm looking for something that I can take to the local GW and gets some learner games in with.

I have the contents of the start collecting skitarii set, though I'm kitbashing the weapons on to the skaven bodies which I have loads of so, so I can use every weapon in the set. I also have bits for two magos (one skitarii based one skaven based) but not sure what to arm them with, and have enough parts to make a unit of custom electro priests (from the left over plague monk parts) . I have a doomwheel to convert up but not sure if It will proxie ok as a dragoon. (I had to get a doomwheel as its a great model, and I have doomwheels in my epic force)

I've started on some Vanguard, as I know I need some troops, buts if I don't work towards something and tick them off, I will build all the cool stuff first and then get bored of the troops, and will loose enthusiasm.

If you want to field them in the most optimum way and combine all the ad mech like armies ( until the new book comes out ) then you should really read up on the "Adeptus Mechanicus War Convocation".

Thanks, I look around the blogs and their is some really good work out there- I found a nifty colour scheme I intend to steal at least!

Not keen on mantics ver-myn to be honest. Their minis are too much of a pain to clean up half the time, and not I'm not a fan of restic. That, and they wont be any good to me playing in the local GW store.

No it is not available in a book : \

But you can still order a digital version of the white dwarf on Black library or hunt it down a dead trees version.
