Welp time to start new game plus. Every modern game out there in the past year I have is now broken from patches, video driver updates, or just plain sucked and is boring. Noted exception being Xcom 2. I'm waiting for the last dlc to play xcom 2 again.

Total Warhammer started having the campaign map stuttering on me. Star Citizen has been broken for me for a long time. Fallout 4 is boring as hell.

There are literally no good games out to play right now except the Witcher. I sure hope at least a few decent games come out this year.

Ha! One of my favourite things about the Witcher is that it knows how to have fun

Same, I did some tidying up with quests and next time I'll play I'll be starting up NG+ as well. Question though, how does the gear work, will hunting boots suddenly tower over my 30,000 crown grandmaster armour? If so, i'll be sad. :,( the wolven set looked so cool! And on the topic of other games, I got a buddy into ESO and we've been playing that. Not necessarily because it's a good game, but we mess around and enjoy ourselves

And sorry to hear about those other games, and I agree on Fallout. Had fun with vegas and 3, although admittedly less with 3, they just shook up the formula too much. Lack of interesting story, characters, and dialogue killed it for me. Didn't even go back for the DLCs. The combat system was at least improved though.

Once again, we march to war, for Victory or Death!

Not to sure about buying it. I got W3 on my Xbox and have been playing through it again. I'm scared to say this... but... it's buggier than an Elderscrolls or Fallout game. And that's keeping me from buying it.

Movement bugs, texture loading bugs, Roach becoming wonkey, models of bandits, guards and chests becoming porcupines.

Poor ignorant guardsmen, it be but one of many of the great miracles of the Emperor! The Emperor is magic, like Harry Potter, but more magic! A most real and true SPACE WIZARD! And for the last time... I'm not a space plumber.

The PC version is without a doubt the most modern stable pc game in existence provided you got a computer to run it.

It's a PC game first and foremost and it shows. Not to mention the graphics are way better assuming you can run it that high.

Spend more time on the main game. There are a number of Grimm tales in the game. This one time I ran across 7 dwarves...

Really? I can't speak for the PS4 or PC, but my Xbox experience has been pretty stable, a couple of crashes on loading screens and lower framerate against shaelmaars spinny attack as the exception.

I love the Witcher's perspective on Fairy Tales. There is many in the base game and just as many in B+W. The lady of the lake being the 2nd, and probably favourite encounter of fairy tale B+W quests.

More exploring to do!

You encounter her in Witcher 1 as well ans boy is it truly a magical encounter. It felt like a fairy tale. Back then I was a Witcher newb and had no idea the game had shifted to Toussant or something similar to it.

Finished out Blood and Wine last night. I really enjoyed it. A good end to the story.

Depends on which ending ya got

Mine was, to say the least, was...melancholy in a way. I can't help but feel what I did was right, but in the end it didn't really work out, and am somewhat regretful, even though I "saved" Toussaint. Oh well, I guess I'll see if the other paths are just as bad. (In a good way)

Spoiler:

I feel bad for it, because it almost wasn't his fault, but Dettlaff had to die. He had caused so many deaths because of emotion alone and I couldn't trust something like that out in thhe world. I also feel sorry for Regis. Even though he was his friend, he ended him because he had too. Sad.

I also saw the Duchess assassination a mile away, but the way the scene was played out it was still a huge impact. Can't believe that happened.

The only thing I disliked about the ending was
Spoiler:
how there was no way to see how getting the ribbon from the flint girl would save Syanna. Or how important reading the diary would be. Feels kind of... eh. Still, every ending is pretty decent at least, so theres that.
