Yes I know - "why are you asking what Eldar list is better, the whole codex is broken" but in the interests of curiosity, which of these two lists would you think is more potent and why?
List 1
List 2
if you have any suggestions to alter the lists then that is also welcome

Just curious - why the autarch in the second one? Seems a bit out of place in a flat-out competitive eldar list? Surely some more bikes or a D-cannon platform or two would be more dangerous

I'm not a fan of Warp Spiders, so I vote list 1. Spiders don't do anything but die in my meta, so they are a waste of points unless you know 100% there will tons of LoS blocking terrain in your games.
Crimson Hunters also help counter DakkaTyrant spam which can annihilated most of your list.

The Autarch is there to Help with the reserve rolls with the 3 units of Spiders and the 3 Hornets or any bike units I wish to keep in reserve should I need to. The Fusion gun is also useful, especially with the mobility. Automatically Appended Next Post: Galef wrote:I'm not a fan of Warp Spiders, so I vote list 1. Spiders have always done amazingly well for me and I always use them in an Alpha Strike, deploying in the rear armour of vehicles or ganging up on a Wraithknight or even Riptide for example.
The Crimson hunters, with the new rules will be almost useless should my opponent not bring air support. Their -1BS really hurts them for their points cost and I can't quite justify it.

Ah fair enough then, didn't realise you were deep striking the spiders! And didn't realise you were planning on reserving so much of the rest of the list too.
I'd still consider the trade off between having an extra unit in the field or not though (though I am the sort of person who likes to take only minimum HQ in favour of more bodies most of the time)

I haven't really paid much attention to the new flyer rules yet. My gaming group considers it optional and fro what I have heard, playing flyers without the new rules is much better.
