First let me apologize if this in in the wrong section.
So far I have the CSM dex , 2016 Crimson Slaughter book and Daemonkin book.
As far as models I have the following.

5 Raptors
10 Hounds


I have around $100 budgeted out for this Friday to pick up a new unit so the question is what should I buy to add some punch?
Mauler fiend hell drake 2nd predator or a vindicator? Or a different unit?

Edit: Forgot to mention most of my opponents play Tau and marines.

You're gonna want a Heldrake.
I would also buy a Bloodthirster , a Soul Grinder, and some bikers with more hounds to run a gorepack.

I would like to add a flyer to my army is the Fire raptor a decent flyer? Or would I be better off with the heldrake?

Heldrake, and either Havocs or Obliterators. Infantry that can hide in cover with heavy weapons are nice, as well as Obilterators giving lots of options. Might want to pick up the Black Legion book as well, as there are a fair amount of good formations in there. You might want to convert some more sorcerers, and even possessed and berserkers get a good bump up the ladder.

Honestly bikers, bikers, bikers, and sorcers on bikes. Black Legion Cyclopia Cabal is the best thing going for Chaos right now.

But as mentioned above, Obliterators are legit, and add a cheap, useable heavy slot that kicks butt.

My suggestion would be a Kytan daemon engine as a LoW. I am sure others would disagree though.

My opponents don't mind if I proxy my termi's as oblits. Can I field a fire raptor gunship with the free rules? Or do I need to buy a FW book to use it? So I think my options as far as what I like the look of/affordability are
1.Fire Raptor gunship
2. A pair of heldrakes
3.kytan
4.Deimos pattern Vindicator Tank Destroyer

I have always had a soft spot for raiders and so far it has only been lost in 1 battle out of a dozen or so it soaks up a lot of fire for me.

I can't remember when mine last survived the first turn.
