Are there any 40k novels that track the transition of a Space Marine from loyalist to traitor from that marine's point of view? Internal monologue and that sort of thing?

No Primarchs, but marines, especially post-heresy?

Perhaps not technically a Marine Chapter anymore, but the Flame Falcons would be pretty creepy to fight.

"Right. Well, did you at least use the burnas?"

"We tried, but the gits was already on fire."

There's the Souldrinker Omnibus, which follows them as they slowly get corrupted by chaos

TheEyeOfNight- I swear, this thread is 70% smack talk, 20% RP organization, and 10% butt jokes
TheEyeOfNight- "Ordo Xenos reports that the Necrons have attained democracy, kamikaze tendencies, and nuclear fission. It's all tits up, sir."
Space Marine flyers are shaped for the greatest possible air resistance so that the air may never defeat the SPACE MARINES!
Sternguard though, those guys are all about kicking ass. They'd chew bubble gum as well, but bubble gum is heretical. Only tau chew gum

It's a pretty good series, and it goes to show how Chaos can be so subtle that one doesn't even realize that they've fallen until it is far too late.

It also shows how one can fall and realize he is falling, yet not care... Along with one falling and not realizing it until it is far too late.

Well, there's Isador in the first Dawn of War novel, but... well, C.S. Goto. Take that as you will.

Isn't there stuff on the Crimson Slaughter going through this process? Obviously the supplement does go into this, but I believe there is further material. Perhaps in the Dark Vengeance novel if there is one?

There is a Story about a Ultramarine and a Sister of Battle who meet a Daemon Prince of Nurgle called Daemonblood...it doesn't end well for the Space Marine, damn good story tho as we follow his ride to damnation.
