Just started my first 30k Legion, starting as the Iron Hands because Most Tanks, Best Tanks! So with that said I started by using the BaC set out of convenience, and with that have decided to follow the fluff of the Iron Hands with a shooty/vehicle heavy layout.

So far I have:
HQ:
Legion Praetor: x1 Cataphractii Terminator Armor with Combi-Bolter and Power Weapon, Grenade Harness, and Iron Father.
Legion Centurion: x1 upgraded to a Forge Lord with Artificer Armor.

Troops:
Tac Squad: Marines with Bolters x14
Sergeant: x1 With Combi-Plasma(Staying Shooty), Artificer Armor, and Melta Bomb.

Tac Squad: Marines with Bolters x14
Sargeant: x1 With Combi-Melta(Haven't gotten to him yet not sure), Artificer Armor, and Melta Bomb.

Elites:
Cataphractii Terminators: x4 with Combi-Bolters and Power Weapons.
Sergeant: With Grenade Harness, Combi-Bolter, and Power Weapon.

Legion Contemptor Dreadnought Talon: x1 with Inbuilt Twin-linked Combi-Bolter, and Kheres Pattern Assault Cannon.

Heavy Support:
Legion Sicaran Battle Tank: x1 Armored Ceramite, Auxiliary Drive, Blessed Autosimulacra, and Las-Cannon Sponsons.

Lords Of War:(Planned)
Ferrus Manus: Master Of the Legion, and Primarch.
Legion Glaive Special Weapons Tank: Armored Ceramite, Blessed Autosimulacra, Laser Destroyer Sponsons.

Legion:
Legion Astartes, Loyalists.
X: Iron Hands.

Now mind you this is just a basic layout/idea list, all of the listed stuff is owned, and in process of being built, the upgrades, not sure if they are the best, but would like advice on that, as well as where else I should go with them(as far as what other units should I add.) The Lords of War, both Ferrus Manus and the Glaive are there as options I would like to add(Obviously so I can use 1 or the other when/if I play games). Any advice, and help would be appreciated!

Attatched is the Battle Scribe File, I used it to make a "template" to keep track of my Legions Development for now.

I can't say that I've had a single combi-melta in a squad do much good. The melta bomb is usually enough. A vexillia is a much better use of the points.

Could probably shave off auxiliary drive from the sicarian, possibly the ceramite. I've never had either do my much good as mine seems to get killed off at range before either have done much good.

Might consider kitting out the terminators a bit more specifically. What job do you want to do? Assault? Objective camping? Wandering around the field causing problems for your enemy?

Well I figured Combi-Plasma stays fluffy with an army whose focus is on shooting, and working with armored vehicles more so than assault actions, but we shall see right? lol As far as the Terminators go... I'm not entirely sure how to play them out, my friend said run the Cataphractii as Morloc Terminators since apparently they can be used as such. I kind of want them to be able to fill gaps when needed I would think, whether it be holding a point down while the rest of my troops work else where, or coming in and raising all kinds of havoc where needed. My current issue is I just ordered a Sicarin, and then in a stroke of luck got lucky and ordered myself a Glaive(Is kind of a must for me), but I'm not sure what more to do at this point.

Should I add a Veteran Tac Squad? Or Heavy Support Squad? Maybe a Deredeo Dread? I have options... but which ones do I go with? Thats where my road block lies, and where I'd like the help most.
