Subject: Reborn as a Blood Angels player

Hello. I've returned to the world of wargaming after a six month hiatus. I'm going to be starting a Blood Angels force and would like some opinions on where to start. I'm getting a Sanguinary Priest as my HQ choice, can anyone offer some troops that should go with him? Thanks.

Yeah blood angels are probably some of the coolest loyalist space marines, especially when it comes to chapters that have their own codex's.
Some tac squads or some death company would be a great start to go with the Sanguinary Priest, and as the above poster said, the start collecting blood angels box is a good deal to get some BA specific models

Welcome back fellow son of Sanguinius. Yeah the new get started box is a good one to begin with and i would also suggest a drop pod for the tac squad. Then as you have a sanguinary priest I would recommend some sanguinary guard as he complements them well and there very smart indeed. Death company are an inevitable purchase as well and I would recommend a Librarian to go with them instead of the priest. Hope this give's you something to start on.

Hi everbody, thanks for your opinions. I'm currently writing up an army list (with the Sanguinary Priest going with Death Company Squad and Death Company Dreadnought in a Stormraven supported by two tac squads in Rhinos). Might add or subtract certain units from this list, does anyone have any opinions? Any suggestions as to what I should bolster/supply my units with?
