I've scoured what texts are available to me that have anything to do with the Ferrums, but they seem to just fade into the background. I'm curious if Perty took them through the Eye of Terror, or even still finds a use for them as a Demon Prince.
Could they still be plodding about in the 41st millenium, or do we know their demise? If I remember rightly, they have an advanced Silica Animus, so they probably could find their own way if they were discharged.
Mainly curious for narrative forging reasons; my opponent last night was pretty interested too. (I fielded my Ferrum in a 750 with my smidge of Iron Warriors, 40k match).

Afaik, there is no information on them.
As they were Perturabo's bodyguard, they must have remained with him during the Scouring, and if any were left after that they probably accompanied him when Perturabo finally travelled into the Eye of Terror.
If they still exist, they will probably still guard Perturabo on Medrengard, altough probably now heavily corrupted by the Warp.

Did any survive the Siege of Terra? The fighting was fierce, I imagine.

I'm expecting them to turn up in 40k with perturabo when this 'end times' stuff comes home to roost.

Daresay that might show up in the IA after the next one. If everything gets kicked into maximum overdrive in 8th edition, we might find he's got a whole army of the Ferrums, or perhaps legions of Iron Men, commanded by the original 6 Ferrums. That'd be pretty crazy.
I take it the Iron Circle accompanied Perty in every engagement of his since their creation?

I think so - the way i understand it is perturabo made them to ensure his bodyguard never betray him.

Ahh, true. I suppose this is one of the funny cases where the creator of some sweet tech doesn't die.
