11 squads(30 scouts, 26 power armor troops), 3 tanks, 3 drop pods, 1 Knight, 56 total Infantry/Jump Infantry. 6 Objective secured units, ton multiple small units, lots of dakka, fast and hard hitting. Veritas Vertae for two rerollable Strategic Warlord traits.

30 Sniper Rifle shots is alot better now with BS4 Scouts from the FAQ update, amusing against Monstrous Creatues and whatnot.

The DC squads need a single power fist each.

Let me know how the scouts work out.

If I find the points I will likely add a power axe to each squad, almost half the price, more ap2 attacks than a power fist on a death company model. I find axes much more point efficient on death company in my past experience with them.

And yeah, I'm testing this out the next time I have a chance against a few players.

Well, in a mission based environment like maelstrom MSU can work. The Scouts will surprise the enemy. The army has a good mix to fight the enemy at all threat ranges.

Yeah made the list for missions specifically.

Automatically Appended Next Post:
I'm considering dropping the Legacy of Glory, the Carapace mounted Icarus and a combi-melta for 6 missile launchers, one in each scout squad, and adjust anything else as needed, I'll probably test that variant too when I have a chance.

Power fist is much better especially after grenade nerf.
