Subject: Chimera questions please help

So my first chimera is near completion and I am still a bit hazy on how it can be used. My first question is how many special weapons can fire from it? Example 3 plasma guns and the Sargeants plasma pistol plus a demo charge riding in it; can everything pop off in one turn? And what if the chimera has moved the normal 6 inches is everyone snap firing? Do the passengers have to shoot at what the transports hull and turret shoot at?
I really appreciate the help, the codex doesn't seem to have the answers atleast to my knowledge and I'm having trouble finding it in the rule book (pdf version).

Perhaps your pirated copy of the rules is missing the vehicles section? These are all rather basic rules questions.

For some reason it doesn't list the number of fire points in the army list entry - look ealier in the codex where you get the full rules for each unit spread out over two or so pages with fluff.
Also note the Lasgun Arrays rule.
Note also that Chimeras from the Inquisition Codex work slightly differently (unless I've missed an update).

Rules questions go in YMDC!
And, while I can't find the rule to quote, people rather strongly frown upon using the forum as a substitute for reading the rulebook, especially when you admit that you're pirating the rules.

No you can't. GW sells their books in digital form, but not as pdfs.

Looks like you need a legal copy if not one. . Then if it is bad, they would help you out if codex wrongly ptinted/downloaded.
Normaly its number of fire points listed for weapons is in the vehicle rules.
You should find that in the rules, maybe in the Las weapon entery if it overrides.
Not sure on demo charges....
Free has downsides. Such as above.
Yours might be missing a page. That if pirate..no help there.

Sgt. Vanden - OOC Hey, that was your doing. I didn't choose to fly in the "Dongerprise'.

I'm not super familiar with chimeras, but how firing out of vehicles works is that vehicles have defined 'firing points', and embarked infantry can only fire out of those fire points.
I think (maybe?) chimeras have 4 firing points - check your the chimera entry in the codex for specifics. This means that only 4 models in the embarked squad can fire from inside.
There's also the lasgun array on the top, which lets an additional amount of infantry fire. Again, codex should have specifics, not my army so I don't know.
If the vehicle moves up to 6", it has no affect on embarked infantry, other than they too count as having moved (so can only fire rapid fire or assault weapons without penalty). Over 6" everything snap fires.
Lastly, if the transport takes a penetrating hit and suffers a stunned or shaken result, the embarked unit takes a LD test, or they suffer the same result.
Update: Checked codex, it's actually 2 firing points. To find it, go to the chimera in your codex. Below the statline (BS, F/S/R armor values, HP), there's unit type. Below that there's wargear. Below that, there's transport capacity, and then fire points.

Thanks guys,
I found in MY PAPER BACK COPY OF MY CODEX it only has 2 firing points which sucks. I guess that's the benefit of the taurox, that has 4.
