If you want them to be most effective you need to determine role beforehand. Therefore think of your whole army ahead. Don't assemble and THEN think of a role.
Well unless you want to build REST of the army around whatever role termies end up with.
If you don't care about efficiency of unit then obviously whichever looks best.

A lot depends on the support elements available. For the most part I think you are better off with the CC options. Do you need more bolter fire in your list? Odds are, no. But a S&P CC unit is not going to get a lot done without help.
I’d go mostly with 2xLCs, with a hidden chainfist or two tossed in. I like the concept of the HF, but am not sure how much use it would be. If you have the points, should be better then the c-bolter though. The sarge could go a lot of different ways, but do take the grenade harness.

You have space for terminators in a gladius list?

If he's not going full battle company, sure.
I don't know if the Angels of Death book gives more options, but the only way I can see to add them to a Gladius is the 1st Company Task Force, so consider what two (or more) other units from that you'll go for (Sternies?)

as Quaner said, the Gladius has plenty of space if you don't insist on a Battle company.
