Finished this guy a few weeks ago, and thought I'd post it here. This was my first time airbrushing red; I can already see areas I can improve in on the next models I do. That said, it's a beautiful kit and a step in the right direction for Privateer Press.

Smooth, but flat. A dark brown wash around the nubs and at the angles between plates would go a way toward giving the red surfaces some depth.

I appreciate the feedback, I'll give that a shot! I've got both P3 Brown Ink and some Dark Sepia Wash that I can try out.

I agree with DarkSoldier, the colours (not just the red) are very smooth, but appear flat to me. A good wash and maybe some more colours will help break it up and give the model more depth.

Yeah, the red's a little flat, but it's a nice clean job and looks good. nice work on chipping the 'hands'.

Nice job, looks good, but a wash of some type would bring out the detail.
