why the Space Wolves?
Wyrdstorm is only really good if you're chasing the Tempestas Disciplines. You'd still be getting one Living Storm attempt each turn but it would be the only thing you'd be harnessing on a 3+.

I don't break the rules but I'll bend them as far as they'll go.

I want them for the mastery levels and for that 1 power. Tempestas doesnt seem very good otherwise. The storm power is a great shooting attack on a unit that lacks firepower making me a threat to light/medium AV at range, while also giving me psykers that can help with the casting of powers i want to get.

Don't you have Grey Knights?

Yes but it wont give me what I want which is a fire power in the hammernator unit.

Well, a bit of advice then.
Take Runic Armour rather than Terminator Armour, cheaper by 10ppm, 2+ and 6++ saves and can still make sweeping advances or be mounted.

Delve into Divination.
Prescience Psyker and his unit re-roll failed to hit rolls
Forewarning 4++ save
Perfect Timing Ignores Cover for the Psyker and his unit
Precognition Psyker re-rolls all fail to hit rolls and re-rolls failed saving throws

I appreciate you are trying to help but i'm so puzzled by your advice.

Runic armour is nice but the priest are meant to run around with terminators attached to the hammernator squad, runic armour removes the tactical option of deep striking them which i'd consider detrimental.

But what's most confusing is the psychic powers you recommended over the ones that I suggested in my strategy plan.

perfect timing?? The living storm from Tempestas is already going to ignore cover because my priest has the Helm of Durfast. This is guaranteed ignore cover. Why bother with perfect timing?

Forewarning?? That's even more puzzling....the priests and ICs are attaching to a Assault Squad with TH&SS why do 3++ invulnerable saves need to roll for a psychic power that gives them a 4++ save? It's like paying for power armour for a terminator...it just doesn't make sense.

Pregcognition lets the psyker himself reroll failed saving throws...but that's clearly NOT superior to Veil of Time from librarius that allows the ENTIRE UNIT to re-roll failed saves. As for re-rolling hits, the helm of durfast again grants me that ability.

That's why i didn't factor diviniation into my strategy. I already have everything i'd want from it.

1. Tyranids - 15,000 pts
2. Chaos Space Marines - 7,100 pts
3. Space Marines - 6,000 pts
4. Orks - 5,900 pts

Somehow I came to the conclusion you were running the Wyrdsorm Brotherhood as a unit in its own right. Too used to Space Mutt strategy, keeping everything mobile & considering Termie armour kind of redundant.

All in all, imo your list looks solid. I am quite curious as to how well it does.

Mind sharing of your success with it? And what seemed to not work out well?

There's no point sinking all those points into buffing Hammernators when they're slow.

Either buff shooting units (ie Centurions) and/or fast units (bikes, jetbikes, TWC etc)

Used a slight variatnt of this list yesterday to great effect.

I lost the game admittedly, but I won the moral victory. By forcing my opponent to flee all game, it was maelstrom and the lack of mobility killed me my opponent was a few units away from being tabled while my deathstar was largely unharmed.

The only power i successfully got from the ones i wanted was Veil of Time, and 2+ with re-rolls was really really really good.

I got hit by 4 grav cannons and only 1 terminator died. 3++ with re-rolls is really really really really good.

The highlight of the game was most definetly the Wyrdstorm Brotherhood with their Living Storm, anything i aimed it at DIED a horrible death and gave me the ability to shoot and kill something then try and run the unit to get closer in the following turn.

1. Tyranids - 15,000 pts
2. Chaos Space Marines - 7,100 pts
3. Space Marines - 6,000 pts
4. Orks - 5,900 pts
5. Dark Angels - 4,300 pts
6. Necrons - 4,600 pts
7. Grey Knights - 3,200 pts
8. Eldar - 3,400 pts
9. Blood Angels - 3,200 pts
10. Chaos Daemons - 3,200 pts
11. Tau Empire - 3,000 pts
12. Space Wolves - 2,400 pts
