Whats up people?
I have searched around for a while but I cant seem to find a color scheme for my force. I already have a Khorne Daemonkin Army so a lot of Red and Gold/Brass. I want something different than a red army but the standard Green and Khaki isnt
doing it for me as far as I've seen. Any pics would be helpful. I have an air brush so I can use it for certain effects.

What models are you using for your IG? My suggestions might vary based on what you're painting, and how you want them to look.

Mainly a mech force. A lot Leman Russ, Wyrdvane Psyker, and some Tempestus Scions.
Also the odd Wyvern and Manticore and Verterans.

The nice thing about IG is the absolute limitless battlefields they will encounter require an equal amount of camouflage.
What about a nice grey, highlighted appropriately and then speckle with white (dip a toothbrush in white and then run your finger along the bristles to get flecks of white)
Vehicles could be grey to match. Kind of an urban warfare look.
Or, do the above but make your base color olive drab and speckle with lighter green and browns for a flecktarn approach.
No good?
Off-white clothing with brown armor (assuming you're using the Cadian figs). Make the vehicles brown or a dunkelgelb for a nice desert force.
Orange jumpsuits with white armor. Now you have an army of Rebel pilots from Star Wars.
Get weird with it and see where it takes you and post your results!

I have two IG schemes going. One is a snow/ash waste world, so base white/gray with various light blue lavender camo marks. I also have my Sister's of Steel. They go Mordian blue with bronze highlights.
You can find my snow/ash waste at:

No clue if it helps, but maybe its an idea. Tanks went mud brown with whitewash.
As an IG player I'm interested in what you end up with so please share.

Perhaps look at actual military uniforms from past and present, and see if there is any inspiration in those?
Or any particular fluff of a regiment that you like. There is no reason you can't take, for example, the colouring of DKOK and put it on cadian models

If I were to start a Guard army again I'd go with something unusual.
Tons of realistic schemes out there but not many oddball ones.
Something like this perhaps...

I like the scheme. Good blue offset by the cream armor, etc. They look like they should be drop troops to me...no idea why they just do.
