This is something I thought about when I was reading (looking at the pictures) an issue of Warhammer visions. I'm not that familiar with the 40K universe so I just assumed Space Wolves based on esthetics.
But if we go by playstyle and character, mindset and such, what/which chapter is most like the dwarves then?

Probably Salamanders.

Imperial Fists for stoic stubborn defence and artillery.

I assume Salamanders because of the smithing and craftmanship?

Battle Tactics: Imperial Fists
Craftsmanship: Salamanders
Beardyness: Space Wolves.

What about the stubborness and "If it was good enough for the ancestors it's good enough for me!" approach?
Also, if we broaden it a bit, which Space Marine Legions (that's 30K right?) can we include?
