Like Winter, I just keep mine in a cupboard in the shed, away from direct sun.
The cupboard happens to be an old Dangerous goods segregation cupboard that got repurposed to become my seg cupboard.
(Wife's work upgraded to a newer one. The old one was fine, but they wanted to get rid of it so I said I'd take it. ).
I've seen acetone in up to 20l drums at certain hardware stores here. I just tend to get it 1l at a time, and that lasts me most of a year. I get it from the local hardware store.
You don't have to keep it out of direct sunlight, but it helps to keep it cool and therefore not evaporate so fast.
Also check the seals on the bottle.
As for other chemicals to keep out of direct sunlight ... yeah, had to explain some of those to people I used to work with. Some don't like being wet (*foom* so keep dry, others don't like being wet OR exposed to sunlight (*babafoom*) like certain pool chemicals. ).
