Hi all,

I'm looking at fielding some Ork trukk boys in my new Ork army, but I'm trying to build it on a budget - is it possible to squeeze more than one ork trukk out of a single kit?

The idea would be to cobble together a pair of three-wheeled smaller trukks that can count-as, as opposed to one larger vehicle. Ebay bits/plasticard will be used to help.

Anyone have any experience with this/think this is doable?

Thanks guys!

Just buy cheapo toy trucks for a couple of bucks, some bitz, and some plasticard. For the price of a single GW kit you can make upwards of 3 trukks easily.

Yup. I bought several cheap toy trucks from the $1 store here, and with a little bit of plasticard glue and paint, you're in business. Add plenty of rivets to make it look really Orky.

Yeah, that sounds like it's the way to go. From what I hear, they don't tend to spend long on the table, so it seems a shame to spend so much on the official models
