Ok, Dakkanauts, I need some opinions. I've been having a rethink on how to build the Auxilia now that Anvil have released their amazing Void Armour Torsos.

So, I have tons of old Warzone plastics I'd like to use in some way, but there are a few ways I could go with this. What do you prefer, both for look and for proportions?

A - Whole Warzone model with a Skitarii head and spare old backpack. This is as in the previous post.
B - Warzone legs and arms, with an Anvil Industry gothic void armour body.
C - The same as above, but I've left the belt on the legs, making him taller.
D - Catachan 'fatigue' legs, Anvil body, Warzone arms (I got better at proportioning the arms in this one).

Wow, none of those look easy or cheap. The WZ bodies were cheap for a long time but I remember they needed special gule and even there were not fun to work with.

Weapon swaps for anyone except the minigunner were also a pain.

And a GW head on top of that?

That being said I vote for using the WZ bodies, cutting and gluing those bodies gives me nightmares.

Yeah, I have 100 or so from when they were REALLY cheap! They actually glue fine with certain brands of poly cement - Humbrol, etc. I had some problems before with GW plastic glue. Either way, if I go with options B, C or D here, the Anvil bodies are resin so it'll be superglue and green stuff!

I remember superglue not working very well so I recommend against mixing legs (and the cost! oy the cost!).

I was considering using Warzone bodies for mine but then realised I had 100 Mantic Corporation troopers in my bitz box! :-D
