Seconding this. You seem to have a good idea of what you want to do, are aware of the respective's armies' reputations and are concerned with how it will affect others. However, right now you are in a vacuum. You need to scope out the people you're going to play with and see what they play/think.
Who knows? They may not even care about how 'unfun' your army sounds.
