I keep hearing about this "bark star" what is it.? Do they mean iorn priests and WGBL and stuff. What's the big deal.? That's been around for a while now.?

That page discusses it and has an example list. But basically it's a deathstar using oodles of poodles (fenrisian wolves) as its base/footprint/ablative wounds.

It's actually pretty new, ETC was the first major tournament where this particular combo made it's debut. The big deal is that it highlights/exploits a major flaw of 7th edition allies; namely that with special characters and psychic powers you can take relatively weak units and make them extremely durable and quite deadly.

Hope is the first step on the road to disappointment.

Imagine 50+ Fenris wolves joined by Azreal (fearless, gives whole unit 4++ CHOOSES his WL trait) joined by a Librarius Conclave (+Tigarius) for ultimate buffing potential.

Though expensive an needing 3 codices to create, It can be THE hardest unit to kill in 40K, and it has boat loads of atx that can even kill IKs
